Hi all..
WARNING about DRS Detectors Company Germany.
I am Sorry to say that my friend and I, we did pay 4250 € to DRS Germany and after that the payment, order 1.pc Ground Exper, the respons stoped...
Yesterday we did send a mail til the US supplyer, and a nice guy did answer and promises that he would try to get the German DRS answering... Okay that didn't happen this friday, so I'm thinking they did take our money.

I found a thread in the US treasurehunter forum, similar case to Mr.Big Red in february.. Slow repons, but he got his Ground Exper after some weeks waiting. Hope some same will turn out for me and my friend, but until now I dont like the situation, 4250€ and email stop
in a week now....
Thank god that the German Company is only in Køln Germany, Thats only 10-12 hours by car... And If that have to be nesasary, they would like my visit

Hopes is okay to warn others.. it would been a Shame If others did the same mistake I did...

Just got the Ground Exper from DRS Germany, with a apologize of Delay.
now its time to open the packets and learn and do some test.

I owned the DRS Ground Exper. I found it did not have great depth and had a slow reaction time.
There are certain things I would use it for but not for what you are doing.If I was not experimenting at the site
with a Golden King or Deephunter for something larger than a coin sized object, I'd use the Pacer with the 40CM coil for coins or the Blisstool.

Hi landman, cool you're still around.

I think your absolutly right about the DRS Ground Exper becaus its PI and therefore
has not the fastest recovery-time and not the best discrimination if this is useful at all.
The only advance would be if it penetrates high mineralized ground better but
in this case a pretty small coil should be used for coins.

Instead of the Ground Exper Henrikras may better have bought the Easy-Rad
for scanning huge areas pretty fast and even for non-metallic buried objects.
Its around the same price-tag.

For coins the new special Makro Racer coil with 30cm, built by MARS from Kiev, Ukraine,
also could be a very good alternative, I hope he has got it meanwhile.
And of course also the Blisstool would work very good, even with its 35cm coil.

As always you are correct Funfinder. Now here's a little goodie...
Nokta is and has been redesigning their Golden King and it's supposed to be released in 2016.
It will have upgrades to all it's systems including GPS.

Of course I'm always right ...especially while losing against chess-computers!

But thats good news that Makro redesigns and improves the Golden King / DeepHunter.
I hope the GPS is protected so the treasure-map inside of the MD is safe enough.
By the way they can add a mp3 player incl. SD-card slot.

And with some luck it will comes with a special new coil that offers super small stuff to
ultra deep detection at almost the same time.

I'm in search of a newer DRS Ground Exper Pro version
to resolve some unfinished business with it.

The Golden King same as the DeepHunter / Jeohunter is for very deep targets
and for skilled persons because of the ultra-sensitive non-motion circuit.
For easy usage the new Makro Racer with 40cm coil is better
but of course its not that deep.

However for real deep finds someone already should know the
approximate location (a castle per instance) of the treasure
because this needs also some rather slow detection method.

And if the region is full of junk even the cheapest detector
will be useful to clean it first.

Modified my Ground Exper to have both control and battery boxes on my hips.
Lighten the load.

Great Job! I'm also always modifying my detectors when I have some ideas for improvements.

It's somehow comparable with building the house where you're living with the own hands.
Afterwards its much more enjoyable!
