Great finds, bring them back to those who lost it! Hahaha! *i am just joking*

For real: Thanks to you those values are not have gone lost forever and now they are again usable to improve life!
This is a very good job and my full respect! I hope you can get alot money for this jewelery.

Those are indeed fine news concerning Arionas from Greece but tell him that you also need directly a working coil !
I am sure that he has the knowledge to create a good coil for you including correct coil-cable.

But the offer for you from kt315 also is good if you can afford it!

Or for less money this here from Bulgaria: http://newhobby.eu/metal-detector
Pulse Induction detectors are good for salt-water-beaches and the PCB comes including coil.

Anyway - meanwhile it looks good for you that you get some working device soon! Have fun!
Peace my brother I am my friend wait your reply impatiently I took a career search for gold in sea water and means of livelihood secondly I was when I find anything not sell it but wait for a long time if it came owners and given scraps specifications Gold lost give it to them in exchange for some money and sometimes for nothing you know this Secretariat and the its owner must take her third offer Mr kt351 very good circle + electronic components 40 euros is good but do I want to work diligently that I am dealing with this guy I will send him the money and the risk lies on

Because Hammerhead for sure don't wanna wait another more weeks or months further!
So please kt315 sell him now something or leave it be!

    @ Hammerhead:

    Do you know the saying:
"Someone has to jump over his own shadow"

And I think you will have to do this otherwise you may wait forever for a working detector or PCB!
We try to help you here since a pretty long time now and nothing worked out.

When I am interpreting the signs of fate correctly I see that you have no big luck with diy (do it yourself)
metal-detector PCBs so better cut that topic and go for some already full functional ready built detector.

Or your destiny is to search without detector ... ?
This could be also better because of possible risks at Egypt.

Anyway - don't lose hope and think good about the options you have.
Hello my friend I've got the patience of a very long so do not lose hope never how I learned from my work in the search for gold in the water this work requires you patience, and patience, and patience until you reach your catch of gold I have for you good news of our friend arionas have continued and asked me to send him Detector in order to repair the imbalance see photo my friend this is the result of patience hunting this week Click image for larger version

Hello Mister kt315 Please I want to buy this circuit from you

ok. i must decrease a length of the board to fit such housing http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-ANCO...cAAOSw74FXO6c8
so then every geotecher may get good waterproofed box for low price for BARRACUDA PI. this is my idea now...
after i will order the new batch of PCB's and you will be certainly informed...

    good luck

When people have problems with the kits, it is only very occasionally due to a wrongly supplied component. In reality, the problems are basically caused by the following:

    1) Inexperience in electronics. Although there's nothing wrong with that, as everyone has to start the learning process somewhere. However, building a metal detector as your first ever electronics project is not something to be recommended.

    2) Populating the whole board in one go, and then connecting battery and wondering why it doesn't work. You should always build a new design in stages, testing as you go.

    3) Putting a wrong value component in the wrong place. This happens a lot. Then you can end up with some "apparently" wrong value components left over, and cannot figure out why. So why not blame the kit supplier?

    4) Flaws in the original design that have ended up in the kit as a consequence of having too many people hacking away at the design without understanding how it works. The Baracuda is a case in point.

    5) Not having the correct test equipment. Yes - it is possible to build a kit without possessing anything more than a multimeter, but you do have to have luck on your side. But when it all goes horribly wrong, you really do need an oscilloscope. Otherwise it's like trying to swim with one hand tied behind your back.

It may appear an easy get-out to blame the supplier of the kit for your own failings, but the reality is that there are many successfully completed kits (supplied by Silverdog) that are being used on a daily basis. You only have to look here (as an example) ->
Completed Minipulse Plus Projects by Geotech members
for a selection of satisfied MPP builders.

The projects on the "newhobby" website are completed boards, and have nothing to do with Geotech. The designs offered are a complete unknown, and without more information it is difficult to tell whether they are any good or not. Geotech members are mainly interested in either bare PCBs or a kit of parts. Neither of those options are available from "newhobby". I also notice that they offer for sale the known-to-be-dodgy Chinese UltraFire Li-ion batteries (rated at 4200mAh).
Personally, I would proceed with caution until proven otherwise.
