I just made desalex board, all okay, make a beep sound, key work, but not the lcd. Im always stuck like this with desalex board, maybe i dont know something.
Its only show square black dot.

Good to get some feed back as I am about to build one.

This md is better than my tgsl, even with unproper coil balance, unknown freq of tx rx, without shield, bellow neon light, high emi environment, air test only.
How to balance the coil?, very hard to get in middle position by built-in balance calibration.

How to measure Rx and Tx freq? I have nothing from rx conection when i use 200 turn wire

It Could be a Problem with your adc connections. The AVR meassure the current of the outputstage differentiel with the 1 Ohm resistor. If there is a Short circuit (under the 1 Ohm or at the Pins of the AVR) the Unit meassures a low current and try to increase.

Without the 68R, the hexfet is not driven an i have a nice 8khz square signal on TX0 (it seems to fit the software tuning).
I've tryed,with differents diodes (through hole HER diodes) and the unit continuously start and stop but no heat.
I'm using 3 // batteries with a dc to dc board. I don't know the power consuption of the det
Ector but it's a vlf one, so, it should not drain that much..

If you remove the 68Ohm Resistor the Output circuit should be disabeld and no current should flow. If there ist still a high current the Diodes are defekt.

Hi,
I still have the same problem. The Hexfet ans the MURS diode comes too hot as soon as the power is on.
Here is the picture of my board. There is no shortcut and i've already change the IRF7105 and the diodes few times.
If someone has an idea i will appreciate. Maybe i went through the nose on the face ...

i put Lfuse = 3F anf Hfuse = D9
The crystal is a 11.0592 mhz.
