      Best setting of delay for gold and you will loose this discrimination


      As far as i know there isn't a PI with reliable discrimination on a real beach although they work in air tests

      I have not seen a project with both a short delay and ground balance feature to work on black sand beaches and pick up a women's gold chain.

                          The current rise TC of a coil is based on the traditional textbook current growth curve based on the TC of the TX coil circuit. This includes the coil inductance divided by the resistance of: the coil wire itself, any series resistance, MOSFET on-resistance, and the resistance of the coil coax lead.

                          The longer the TX PW the higher the TX current can rise. A 300 uH coil that is 5.4 ohms, with a .5 ohm MOSFET on-resistance and a lead resistance of .1 ohms has a total resistance of 6 ohms. 300/6 = 50uS.
                          This is why author of felezjoo pi was at lengths to explain details of coil and cable, cable connector etc, all related to TC of coil decay, for proper interpretation by software of ferrous/ non ferrous target.

                            This is why I do not recommend felezjoo pi as first project. If things are not as author prototype, it will work but maybe not as was Intended.

                              For felezjoo pi to work properly, all parameters must fall within " narrow" band, including characteristics of LF357N chip, which can vary chip to chip.

                                The concern of felezjoo is to manage to reproduce the conditions of the author.
                                So we can not adjust the software to match the coil?
                                So the coil must match the parameters of the software?
