welcome amigo. i did not desolder all chips to show full layout because after first attempts i noticed
that pcb is done from poor textolite. it exfoliates from not so high temperature.

i find it fascinating it quite clearly is a discovery built unit, but the pcb looks like an older cscope board, especially the tinned pads to connect the wires on the edge of the board.
    great job KT, thankyou.

Perhaps because the box is made of plastic, and does not have any shielding such as graphite. The handle of the support is longer and the cables are longer.

    nice project.
the cable to reset knob is shielded one. also aluminum housing is connected to ground and by same way shielded.
    thank you.

    My TF900 project
The selector key was replaced by individual lever keys.
The reset button was adapted to an optocoupler, because the cables introduced a lot of noise.
It seems to work well in the backyard of my house.
It is sensitive, but if the gain is increased too much, it becomes mechanically unstable.
No field tests have been conducted yet.
I hope to carry out more tests in the next few days.
Thanks KT315 for the information provided.Click image for larger version

There is no question. I once visited the Discovery factory and there was a rack of C-Scopes in the production area. The owner (Roy Van Epps) told me he made them for C-Scope.

Another quickie.... TF stands for Treasure Finder. There was a TF-600 and it was called Treasure Finder so the definition is valid...

Well, that solves a model connection problem. Thanks KT-315 for the validation.
