This is a real sniffer and the difference between xr 7 and sniffer xr 71 snfer xr 71 includes two commands more noise and signal .after some time expelled sniffer xr 71 car with ic c 4538 and slightly modified the scheme but in Germany, packed into the same box as and older models sniffer and sniffer xr 7 has a hundred percent the same box without two commands I have given.

xr71 original circuit does not work in the picture. track models of circuits etched on them. What models of parts of this integrated circuit?

No it is not, as i explained in the past. It is just small PI project kit from Conrad, back in '90/'91.

    Hallo zusammen,

In this posting a user have buy a xr71 and is looking for a manual. The answer from a other user is that the xr71 manual is simular to the eurodec mk-2 and the eurodec is selled by a english company.

Amtech, why dont you try "8" coil. Turns to be pretty immune to mineralization, hot rocks and black sand.
    Regards!

    SNIFFER XR-71

Hello , In very bad soil , maybe its time to experiment with a different type of search-Coil ? Not a regular single p.i. coil , but a dual configuration ...........Eugene

    thanks
as for PI method there is not exist specificly and great hot need in ground balance. but DP was constructed by bulgarians for 'bulgarian' soil ground. these guys always say repeated us 'we have VERY hard ground anywhere here in Bulgaria' on the schematic you see this part as D9D and D6B (take my last general XR-71&DP schematic). in last part of ... hmmm.... exponencial falling delta impulse the mineralized ground will give some DC (I repeat here that on normal ground this DC will be clear zero voltage). we call this 'residual voltage level'. this level will been writen in C16, on Tr2 signal, for keeping on all 'working period' (or 'working cycle'), and will compensate this mineralized ground effect.
my english may be very poor for to give you clear comment, but let advanced gurus give you the light

    yours

    kt315,

Look at Carl's Hammerhead article. http://geotech.thunting.com/pages/me...ead/HHv1p5.pdf
What you are seeking for the Sniffer XR-71 is very similar to this Hammerhead article. You can find the equivalent circuits of the Sniffer XR-71 in the Hammerhead documentation where all the circuits are described in detail.

Look at the schematic and circuit layout for the latest version of the Hammerhead where there is a new provision to use either a mono coil or a DD coil.
