I will discovery you this great secret now. XR-71 was done by Gueorgui Gueorguiev in Bulgaria. he released Delta Pulse too! so I would like to ask you WHERE IS THIS BULGARIA? why you think Bulgaria is a state of USSR? what NATIVE is in Bulgaria? may be Turkish or Albanian is native? what the h to say all were done by russians. we must ask him to Welcome in the forum and I hope he will give you ALL info you wish of.

I always thought the XR-71 was an industrial detector based on XR-7 ... another industrial detector probably cloned upon an inspired/designed by Eric Foster PI , always for industrial applications.
Delta Pulse, by Micron actually seems just a clone of XR-71 serie with few modifications, schematic is for 95% the same as XR-71.

I mean... he could also post that files but who told you he's the designer of these detectors ???

Also... I remember that original XR-71 ones (industrial) were made and distributed from Czech Republic company not Bulgaria.

So... I think the last word on who was original designer will be hard to give!

BTW is the same Gueorgui designer of "Nexus" ??? Cause, if so... well... there are still disputes about the schematic of Nexus... if original masterpiece or not...I mean... he wrote somewhere the schematic is really close to old bulgarian designs... so, actually, he just modified and optimized existing and well known designs, expecially about coils from what I remember.

XR7 is a different detector (it is based on the DBP2010 if i remember right!!)
XR71 and Delta Pulse are exactly the same. There are shematics where the XR71p work at 400Hz but the original work at 100 Hz as DP, so the differences on the parts to make dif frequency don't exist. My XR71 is exactly the same with the DP.
My XR71 is an industrial detector constructed by Eric Foster. Eric gave it to me. So i believe (and agree with Max) that Eric is the first designer of this detector. But everyone that knows more than us is wellcome here to teach us

MAX , GEO , You know a few years ago on this forum someone posted photos of the sniffer xr-6 , made in Germany !!! It had the city and the postal code. It was an old Device. I found the inside circuit photos only , as you can see. Then someone said on this forum that the xr-7 was Called the Eurodec MK2 which is the Delta xr71 now made in Greece.... I am confused , but I need to find the other photos soon. And I think the German DBP2010 is related to the German xr-6 , they both love that power transistor too !!........Again we will figure out another mystery here on Geotech!!!! How come we are always detectives here , solving Crimes of "suspicious" detectors" that move from country to country???.......Eugene

Eugene, As i know there is not "XR71 made in Greece".
Here some shops make clones for the SuperScan......... with name SuperScan MK2. I know 3 shops that make this work!!!! Now if some other made and sold a XR71 at 3...5 items i don't know

SNIFFER XR-71

After days of searching I finally found the image of the sniffer XR6 that was posted by forum member "Aykurtelektronik". There were more photos posted of this "Original" P.I. Machine that started it all !!!!! I believe when we see the photos again it will show the German city and the postal code. I believe the XR6 detector was first , then the XR71 was second , and the third was the "Delta Pulse" . I am now searching for more photo's . And finally I do believe that the "DBP-2010 P.I." was copied from this XR6 metal Detector........Bye.........Eugene

shells - you can ask him. My XR71 pcb is the same as "Aban" sent in Carl forum. He ("Aban" is pseudonim which one bulgarian
boy have used. He is from Burgas and is very good liar.) He had stolen my pcb at the early 2000. This pcb have manifactured
yet have a bit modification - we added a part with batery changer and lowbat indication. As you good know on pcb are swich
for "Manual" - "Auto" tune which was soldered in "Auto" mode in "Aban" pcb. The main advantage my pcb is spetial selection
for IC and pasive - You mast know this is "secret", because there were many XR71 detectors were manifactured but when you
will test any from "VE EL electronics" you could register adventage. I have many detectors and think it was one of the best
models at the time and can compare it.
About XR71 I can say that it "Father" XR7 (I had manifactured 3 devices before XR71) was one very fine designed Pi machine.

The best lie I recived from "Aban" was for Gold Fish 2 - a Pi machine which was manifactured from my friend Wesselin
Trendafiloff - "Aban" wrote me that he was bougt it from Dubay! My friend was very happy that it detector was gone to OAE!

I think we have same idea of GG role in XR71, just you expressed bad... talking about he's designer of XR71, I think he isn't. He designed a PCB for it starting from original schematic.

From the email I understand he made PCB design and XR7 and XR71 assembled machines... then he blamed Aban and talk about his friend...

So he actually don't say "I'm designer of XR71" but just talk about designing the PCBs... selecting components, tuning etc

Sure, he probably made good work as small scale manifacturer of XR71 and XR7 clones but this don't mean design/scematic of XR71 or XR7 is from him.

It's like, if I clone GS4, would I call myself designer of GS4...? I wouldn't. And he didn't.

Now it's clear.
