I would suggest to you to build either a SurfPI, Minipulse, Baraccuda or Hammer Head PI. Schematic and PCB files are widly available. These are all good detectors projects with circuit discriptions (how it works) and a forum support is there as well. All these circuits you can tweek for gold (only) targets as well.

interesting to watch the videos but do not waste your time on it. On the last video from post #25 you can see clearly that it is a FAKE video. The movement of the target does not match with the respond of the target LED on the PCB. That is probably the reason why the guy is so busy and has no time to make a PCB or want to answer questions.
Beside that, the PCB looks like one of the Russian made DIY Kits with the ATMEL controller that you can find ready made for a few Dollars on eBay.

I said he was experimenting with the pub so the movements has nothing to do with respond of the target because he was trying to get it stable so the coils act differently

The device he shared and I tried is lrl and it needs original bc546 and bc547 to work

Freso, be free to post what you intend to post here.
Preferably a clear schematic and all the needed info.
Then we will decide to make it or not.
Like Carl said; we can not make any device only according to video.

Hi Freso.

From what country are you? And from what country is the device? Because a BC546/547 is an absolute common standard NPN transistor. You can replace it with almost any other standard transistor like e.g. a 2N3904 or similar which you can find in almost every old electronic device. The pin-out of a 2N3904 is different to the BC type but you can replace it. The price of a BC546 or BC547 is about 4 US cents only or sometimes even less. Why is it so complicated to find one?
