Is this the results I need to be seeing with my scope for the Deus2?

The exact design of the pickup coil won't make a whole lot of difference. One thing about MF waveforms is they are hard to trigger on. You need to set the trigger holdoff to just a little longer than the overall period of the waveform.
Show us what you are getting, maybe that will suggest what you need to do.

Decided to back up and start again. Setup scope and did a scan of the F75, nice wave and frequency was correct. Then without changing anything on the scope I turned off the F75 and turned on the Deus 2 but this time in the Deus mono program set at default of 17 kHz. Still no good logical wave or frequency. But there are other factors to consider. The coil is also transmitting a radio link to the handheld unit at 2.40 to 2.48 GHz. This would help explain my compound problem of acquiring a good wave. I may need to see if I can block everything above 100kHz. Still working. Played around with the trigger hold off but nothing changed. I'm missing something for sure

My objective is to determine the actual transmit frequencies (multi) of both my Deus 2 and Fred's Manticore. Plus any other that might come my way.
Hold off works fantastic to stabilize the wave to measure. Used the cursor function combined with the counter (marked 1 above)

See if you can get hold of PyDSA ( runs on you computer ) ... much nicer spectrum analysis using the 1054 as the front end ADC.
