Real opinion about AI.
Like every revolutionary new thing so far in history; the AI will experience a lot of resistance at first.
AI will get many critics and many objections.
But AI is inevitable and will prevail.
Because if used correctly; makes a person's life easier and qualitatively better.
At first I also felt resistance and felt a little "threatened" by the AI, although I couldn't even explain to myself why and how.
And then I remembered the first video of the train passing the camera, the Lumiere brothers, and the first reactions of the audience!
Frightened people jumped from their chairs and started to run away from being run over by the train!
The first reactions of many to the appearance of AI comically reminds me of that!
Right now with this attitude I only have one very small gripe with the AI.
In long and frequent conversations with the AI I noticed one thing that I both like and dislike, I'm still not sure.
AI bases all its knowledge and experiences exclusively on "mainstream" knowledge.
AI still doesn't have the ability to think outside the box.
And that is the only thing left that distinguishes it from man.

For the purposes of the hobby, AI would be useful if it could provide engineering capabilities - to upload a schematic, and to play with gain and filters, to replace the types of the components and values and to access the results. Also, to play with PCB dimensions and design rules for traces то streamline the projects, to monitor the noise rate, e.t.c.
It would reduce time and efforts significantly...

What you can do right now is to describe a specific electronic circuit in detail to AI in the form of a text;
The AI will then explain everything to you in detail, suggest changes, improvements or point out errors.
Some AIs already accept schematics in some formats.
Try to upload a .jpg with a schematic on ChatGPT.
Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.
What is very important in this story is that the AI will explain to you in the most truthful detail how a circuit works.

AIs are generally "raised" the same way.
They always add a lot of praise and admiration to you if, instead of "cold" and strictly defined questions, you start behaving too friendly and familiar.
I have another problem, often the AI simply "drowns" me with excessive writing with many trivial explanations and too many words!
(exactly the opposite of what I usually do on the forum)

Only now that I'm totally tired and "strangled" by various AIs... I realize that my long posts have the same effect on other forum members!

I have an iPhone(s) & MacBook(s) and other Apple products (almost always close to latest models) but I turned off Siri a long time ago!
The first versions of Siri were stupid.
Today's Siri has become dangerous for marriage!

Normally if I thanked Copilot, I would get a response like "Your very welcome. If you need any more help on your project, you know where I am. Have a great day."

The response that I got this time was almost creepy and over the top. If a human responded to me in that manner I would backoff slowly with a smile and avoid them from then on.

Maybe someone at Microsoft has just turned the 'Suck up' dial a bit too high on Copilot.

So far I've found the AI to be fun and useful and very educative. We'll see what the future brings.

I probably have too high expectations, but to many of my questions AI answers like a politician - it dodges, is too verbose, or doesn't know some things, or DESPERATELY pretends to be stupid and uninformed. At first it gave wonderful answers to a few questions (good thing I copied them! ), but the next day it twisted, lied and "hallucinated" to the same questions. AI is an "information vampire" and is definitely used for unclean "satanic" purposes. I would burn it at the stake without batting an eye!
