Well mate you got what is normal on your excursion when searching for gold. It is not easy, but you missed out in getting the gold unfortunately. Back in the 1970s in Bougainville the Island where the top Japanese leader during WW11 got shot down by the USA. also where the the TV series of " Croc gold" was done. I was working in a Power Station Control Room where one of workers bought in a 30 cm that's right over a foot long and it was disassembled but unlike someone unluck starting with the detonator the projectile was removed first. The rest of us were a little (a bit more than a little) concerned. Your post was really applicated and in a way quite amusing post.

I also "professionally" removed the bullet.
Then, with the same breathtaking "professionalism," I removed the tip of the bullet.
Then — and this is where a smarter man hears the warning bells — I "professionally" emptied the powder case.
And I should have stopped there!
              I really should have!
But no — my excessively enormous "expertise" (please read that as stupidity, most likely caused by a chronic shortage of oxygen in my brain cells) whispered sweetly: "Go on, big guy, detonate the capsule on the shell too."
              And so I did.
And that, ladies and gentlemen, is the precise moment the story grabbed the steering wheel, drove straight off a cliff, and took the whole plot with it.
              ...
That's how Hemingway would wrote it... I also have a version in the style of Charles Bukowski, but it's not suitable for this forum!

              ...
As for the humor, that's the point.
              It's my main driving fuel!
That I am not inclined to turn everything to humor; I would have ceased to exist a long time ago.
A person needs to learn something new from every situation, but also to turn it all into humor.
Because... when the milk is spilled - it's not worth crying.
