Imagine yourself with James Bond 007 Earpiece in public place.
It is practically invisible. Also anyone who spots it will decide that you are at least from security.
So you will have less questions and harassment, more space, criminals will keep distance and everyone behave nice.

Good idea to use in your country: Slippers are equipped with metal detectors can sense the metal object. It is powered by a 9V battery to sustainable work for 6 hours.
soon this mistery thing will be in my hands for repair. I wait a buddy from holiday, he asked me to fix it.

Is an IB or a pi detector?
I don't know. I saw it in the news couple years ago.

Also there is a good way to hide your MD activity if you go snorkeling with waterproof detector.
Nobody can see detector or scoop underwater.
Only problem is headphones especially yellow one like Whites or Excalibur.
They are visible from long distance.
But I have an idea to replace it with Bone Conduction Waterproof Headphones
They are invisible from the beach and also

!!! BECAUSE OF AIRLESS TECHNOLOGY QUALITY OF SOUND IS THE SAME IN AIR AND UNDERWATER !!!!

Genial idea with the sandals! (Although the plug bottom right will not hold long in real use, I think).
If I can something can build myself ...? Certainly.
A little flat coil with a shoe insert. best glue with silicone. I will certainly try.
No more stupid questions from viewers on the beach ...
Is an IB or a pi detector? Ferrous and non-ferrous discrimination would be important.

I would like to be invisible on my beach too because of 100's questions spectators asking every day. Probably I will start from invisible bone conduction headphones

Unfortunately, it's the same in all walks of life, the many suffer for the indiscretions of the few. Funny how the local council can dredge tons of sand out of the sea and dump it on the beach without damaging any archaeology ?!At least the local guys had a golden field day for a short while. Dave.

    Hello Nezocas and Imulsive
It is sad that it is illegal in Portugal to look at the beach. Search on the beach make fun ... (euros, jewelry, etc). The law is not to be understood.
But is it right (with the help of metal detectors) to prohibit illegal excavations on historic cultural sites ....
Why must always fall into the extremes of the legislature ....?

    regards
    Dirk

    Hi Joop
Yes. I know the Graphite - Spray (CONRAD). I have read much in this forum about shielding. There are so many materials (Mylar, lead tape, copper tape, aluminum foil, etc).

Mylar I have tried. (Space blanket). But it does not conduct. I tested it with a continuity tester.
Kitchen aluminum foil I have also tried - coil has a very damping. A few inches deep loss ....

HOWEVER, I got me a couple of weeks ago, fine graphite - bought powder. Very Inexpensive. I will mix it with boat varnish.

Whether shielding even in flat spiral coil works ...?

Laws completely ridiculous .... any country, would benefit from the taxes from sales of metal detectors and even more with the possible licenses to its growing use .... if allowed ....!!
    I'm ashamed to be Portuguese
