Left is RG58, right is the 150 Ohm cable. You can see a small spiral PE wire sticking out with keeps the center conductor in place.

yes I see the microphone cable looks smaller and has a stranded center conductor.I measured my microphone cable today and it comes out at about 50pf per meter, ok but not great.

      Thanks Joop!

The 150 ohm cable looks similar to those used in cars between the FM receiver and antenna.

Almost... coaxial cables inside a car has a 93 Ohms impedance. The only reference I could find against 150 Ohm impedance is microphone cable or networking cable, but then it is always twisted pair.

use high flexible koax microphone cable und the 5pin connector with screw ring
            it is the best solution

DONT use cable with massive core wire - danger of cable break

high flexible cable is also more comfortable

              Hi,
When using coax connectors, I usually use a "wrench on" instead of a "crimp on" that way I don't have to buy a crimper. Just saying.
              Good luck.

Hey Joop, This is what I use for my coil to control box for cable and don't seem to have any problems. Its soft and flexible as well so wont damage as easily. Just food for thought.
