i remember once i found a very deep silver ring, a big ring and i had same vdi 99, and after taking few shovels of dirt out the vdi was lowered.
I don't know why he made 120kz on 99, they don't dig 99? for me if the audio tone is good i dig everything
tx3 require give more power to the coil, is says in the manual.
    "...silencer 2 for?..."

To reduce small iron sounds, usually pretty small and tiny garbage on such sites.
Deus is calmer as Silencer is set higher.
Silencer at 2 provides me calmer and less erratic work on such sites.
Silencer at 3 and sometimes at 4 and bottle caps are gone!

"A large iron" you may think, so was i. Deus was on "Iron3T".
Than i switched it on "Iron4T" and "fat" audio changed to "brooom ... brooom... blurrrp..."! Ha!
Logically, because guy from video designated VDI99 with 120 pitch.

It is a coin that large; you can kill a horse with it, if you throw it!
    ...
V4 update and features... what to say?
    Alright!
It is too early to say anything more... but i think there is a visible improvements and progress.
Most significant for me is obviously the ability to lower Disc bellow zero. I like it!
I also tried XY "oscilloscope" kind of display. Interesting.
But i don't find it very useful. It is not giving me any additional info that i already don't have with VDI and audio.
But i will wait and test it further, until i get my final conclusion about that feature.
    Will i keep V4 update?
    Yes i will.
    It is improvement.

    P.S.
Was it because of the V4 update or it was just coincidental; but battery at coil drained faster than usual.
Usually i get still "full battery" indicator after such day like today outdoor. On both; remote and coil.
But today i am getting "full battery" on remote and "one line less than full" on coil.
Maybe because all the time TX power was set at "3" (maximum power).

Today i went out and visited the same site from the other day, same where i discovered gold coin.
I deliberately wanted to go there and compare behavior of V3.2 with V4 and it's new features.
I made 2 programs explained on Youtube video from my previous posts.
    I named them "Iron3T" (3 tone) and "Iron4T" (4 tone).
But unlike on video i lowered frequency to 12kHz on both, also adjusted Silencer on "2".
So when i first walked inside the site it was "baddabooom ... brooom ... brooom..." all over the place!
Constantly on each step! Deus... the machine gun!
Ok. 5 minutes later i adjusted Disc from previously -6.4 to -4.7 and all of the sudden it became much calmer.
Because at -4.7 there is no more ceramics.
That site is pretty much exhausted, no more finds... UNTIL i got very strong and "fat" audio with side-chatters and VDI = 99 !!!

Logically, because guy from video designated VDI99 with 120 pitch.
Than i switched it back again on "Iron3T" and i started "shoveling" around.
You may not believe... but approximately between 35cm and 40cm deep; i discovered probably the nicest and largest coin in last 4-5 years!
I took a photo of it along with the same kind of coin that i discovered the other day; just to illustrate the sizes and differences:

I think i founded something interesting which must be checked outdoor:

    • Reactivity 2.5, this new reactivity level is fast and deep, offering a good compromise especially when
    searching new terrain.
    • Program No10 GOLD FIELD : Improved Audio Response and reactivity.
Goldfield will give excellent results especially when combined with the new HF coils…Now difficult
targets can easily be detected in mineralized ground. The Tone menu has been removed.
    • Lower discrimination range : For those who want more control over ferrous targets.
Negative discrimination of 0 to -6.4 makes it possible to locate previously rejected ferrous items, the
lower discrimination range can also enhance the signature from deep targets which may have in the
past been ignored. These new options also offer a big advantage when searching for specific targets
such as ceramics or even meteorites.
    • Ground Effects: Improved Tracking.
    • Improved display and signal processing compatible with the new HF 21 frequencies. The display now
has the ability to handle detection frequencies up to 81kHz (18kHz before), now with 7 frequency
    offsets (compared to 3 previously).
    • DEUS is now compatible with a smartphone: Target information and other data can be sent by radio
link to a smartphone. An app will soon be available to unlock these features.
    • New program No9 "HOT" : "Pro setting" this is a find everything program, based on the Full Tone audio
mode with a very low discrimination. Hot is a very interactive program offering excellent feedback and
    target information.
    • New program No6 "DEEP": "Pro setting" for locating deep targets, with moderate discrimination and
    specific signal processing.
    • Improved Non motion / static mode: Non motion modes are now more advanced offering better
overall performance, with an improved sensitivity to small targets.
    • New processing : Dual processing power improves navigation and a range of other parameters.
remote and headset battery life has slightly decreased to 18 and 20 hours respectively.
    • Normalization display is now a menu feature on the WS4 and WS5 headphones.
    • The headset volume is now stored when switched off.
    • The coil name in the coil menu have gone, the serial number is now used as the coil reference.
    • Erasing a coil from the list is done by replacing all characters with 0.
    • Audio tone can now be raised up to 993 hertz
    • Target Normalization mode is on by default (Normalization is not active with HF coils)
    • When turning OFF the remote control to use only the wireless headphone, the coil restart

    I did few minutes ago.
But i will not know if there is any improvements until i go outdoor and test it on real soil.
    Probably tomorrow.
    I see new things here.
Funny; Disc can go now down from 0 to -6.4!
    For "ceramics" and "meteorites" !!!
    WTF!!
Essential changes and improvements are mostly related to new HF coils... as far as i see.
Meaning further; "buy new coil" !
Ok... i'll see what's going on on real soil.
Too early to make any conclusion.

reactivity 2 i use only where is to much trash, like lets say piknik area. the rest i go with 1 and 0, and still have very good separation. disc 0 and 5tone like in the picture. What do you think?
And yes gold targets are somewhere in 30-60 vdi. depend of freq used. higher the freq higher the vdi.

Meanwhile let's do the update, FINALY!

I really wish if we were closer.
I would like to see and test any of new ideas.
I have pretty tough terrains here in local, very interesting conditions for testings the detectors.
