So for the quad LM339 test, only the four green LED's will be flashing. Got it.

thought LEDs both have to light but in half light if the output in hight state.

you are right Gwil. additional option is only option. at least if only GREEN LEDs will flash this is a sign
of condition.

Just a thought - comparators like the LM339 have open collector outputs - they either switch low or go open circuit. So only the green LEDs will flash. (Although everyone probably knew that)
