Maybe someone has more field experience with this unit?
I had a bad experience on this unit,..may cause of low quality of LF357.

Thats the only way to deal a ready made coil.

small copper have id defrent than large copper also alminiom and i think gold but iron i didnt see defrent id with size ..the more pulse change numbers ..in the ground u have to reduse setting for low setting to ignore holes with ground setting to 2 and sensefety to 15

also the cable play agood rule with number A and resister 1mega too and 2.2uf they all play with number A and connector u will note it from the otamatic delay

The Minelab patent you refer to does not seem to have any connection to the Felezjoo detector, and I'm pretty sure that Minelab do not have the same coil issues with their own systems. The TX output of the Felezjoo is classic PI, as can easily be seen from the schematic, or by probing the TX output with a scope. Having said that, the designer does state: "This setting is similar to the GPX Minelab series". Note the word "similar". So he may have been inspired by this patent, even though the TX output is completely different. Personally, I suspect these numbers are simply related in some way to sample points on the decay curve.

Maybe the numbers refers to 30.0us, 70.0us and 80.0us? In that case, my original numbers would be 17.5us, 49.3us and 58.2us. Even so, I remember that the discrimination did [sort of] work in a air test. Hence the numbers would seem to imply that my coil was too fast.
This patent for sure not include sentence like: "Iranian Felezjoo works the same...", but if You read only 1st paragraph may noticed something like this:
"...The detector samples at least three voltagemeasurements of the resultant voltage over three different
time periods to provide three sampled values which are then
processed by a microprocessor to provide three average
ground balanced signals from which at least two ratios are
calculated and compared against a pre-defined response..."

    or another autor`s words:

"...A, B, C are equivalent to short, middle and long time constants in minelab patent.
    A must be between 200 to 400.
    B should be around 700
    and C about 800..."

In my opinion it is all about different Rx sampling. Those numbers for sure not only depends of right 357, coil is important also. What I noticed to achieve them is really easy (with good 357 of course). Wind a few extra windings, then undwind one by one and observe those numbers. I observed that "A" depends a little bit of inductance, "B" and "C" from resistance of coil (smaller R = smaller B,C value). For example when you unwinding turns and you get A:250 B:700 C:800 just tight coil with a twine to get a little bit more inductance and "A" will rise.

i have finished my felezjoo yesterday, tone mode 11 is very nice, very good Separation between pure nature Gold, iron pliers, or a heatsink from Aluminium
i tested different coils that lay around,

for Gold hunting it seems best a doubler layer planar coil from litz wire 25cm Diameter
also set short pulse width 100µs or smaller

i write down my Initial number here during this Weekend
i take no care about them because all my coils for for this detector, so it seems you can use a wide bandwidth of coils
As I said before, it does seem to discriminate ok on the bench, but the real test will be when you try it in the field.

In that case, is it available as a kit, or only as a completed detector?

If You want to know how dicrimination works just look at this patent: https://www.google.com/patents/US5506506 You will also find out what those A,B,C numbers are and how they influence to this unit.
Those may be the numbers I published at the time, but there were some improvements later on. The problem is that there are only some obscure instructions relating to these mysterious numbers. Quoting from the Felezjoo website):
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
These numbers are very important. And indicates that, Op-Amp is the original, and system health.
These numbers, called numbers separate channel.
To separate operation, properly done, and iron removal be done carefully. Note that these numbers should be close to (300,700,800).
