I share with you Eclipse, that it is necessary to add a series resistance of 1 to 2 ohms, for a better operation of the coil of 1 X 1 m.
The total resistance measured with an ohmmeter should be 2 to 3 ohms.
Resistance of the coil, less than 2 ohms, makes the DP unstable.

1x1 coil with 12 windings (1mm2 diameter of wire) - this is my coil parameters and it gives 650uH.
My guess is 10 windings of 0.75mm2 wire will give closer to 400uH results and I've reduced the cross section because lower number of turns will also give lower resistance of the coil (around 1.5 Ohms which is too low), you may need to add 1-2 Ohms resistor at 3-4 Watts.
