2. Can you tell me who is the disadvantage of ligh version?? ..No analogue memory.I have not worked!
3. Also why OP37 is not good for this detector??? It has very hight bandwidth and slew rate.
btw... the 50us pulse at ne5534 (curve 5Ud21,,,d24) are similar to a 20khz signal so we need a bandwidth more than 40 Mhz for a gain of 2000. ... I TESTED,does not work well !! BEST IC (U4)...OPA 2132 ,LF357,OP27. (NO NE 5534)

Also if all will go ok , i"ll try to connect the preamplifier of GS-5 (2 op-am in series).

My results with disc are the same with you. But i have not better results with audio. Anyway let it for later... Now i have a problem with curve 5. The width of pulse is 50us but at my detector is near to 10us. I think that 50us is very high and there is not any way to take pulse with more width. If i will connect dumper lower than 100R then the width of pulse is better but this is not good solution.
I replaced the coil with the coil of TDI, it is 330uH and near to 3Ohm measured at the connector.

Any idea???

I replaced the coil with other (L=520 uH, R=0.8 Ohm) but the same problem. Anyway the big problem this time is the discrimination. When detects a copper then lights the green led. When detects a iron then lights again the green led and when the iron is 10cm near to coil then lights the red led. WHY??? The same with al. The same is happening and with meter. At ferrous the meter first going left and when the object is near to coil, the meter going right. Any idea?????

Finally i finished with the settings of pulse star. The depth is good, but not the discrimination. I had at my hands some copper and some bronze objects. Pulsestar see some of them as noble and few as ferrous. Tried all the items in delay from 50us up 200us and note the depth of each. Up to 200 us there was no apparent decrease in depth only to noble, or only to ferrous objects in order to be able to avoid them. In addition to 200 us the depth was reduced by 35 ... 40%. So i will deal again with my TDI
