You must know what are your tx/rx resonant frequencies for this detector in order to tune and balance the search coils.

i had released simplest LC generator schematic for checking VLF coils on resonance, for doing global coils' base for/from people.
i gave this project for geotechers, but they are sleeping in the bed and do not want wish appreciate my job.
they just want to waste money on cigarettes, not on the testing. my board gives TTL level signal and can be connected to any old and modern
frequency meter given you good lab instrument.

Резонансные частоты должны быть разные. Чем и обеспечивается нужный фазовый сдвиг на Rx. Основная частота от которой все начинается это частота генератора, то есть частота на обмотке Тх. Ее делаете подбором витков Тх.
Не обязательно тютелька в тютельку. Плюс минус 200-500 герц.
А затем с помощью генератора делаете разницу на обмотке Rx, так же с помощью витков и конденсатора 33Н, уже от той частоты которая получилась на Тх. Для чистоты измерений обмотку Rx вместе с нужным конденсатором , который затем вставляется в плату лучше подключать отдельно от платы, и с готовым кабелем. Разница 450 -500 герц.

RX 130 turns 0.2mm
TX 30 turns 0.55mm
Use the pattern shown in the coil photo, and make the shape of the D like in this photo. Use old coil dimensions from your broken coil, it will be good.

I haven't built any of them, I'm waiting for a board to be available. You should
make 10 boards of new designs and sell them here in the for sale section. I'd

I agree you can share as much as you want but if you talk about something show us a
picture or link. If you say " a couple of resistors changed will make it work better" tell
us the resistors and value you think works better. If you say "The Johnny Oscillator works
good here" show us the schematic just so we can follow along.

It would be nice to have a separate thread for "I'm proud of my detector" so you can show
your work and not share it if you like. Inside a given thread it's better to have solid info for
people who are trying to build it or studying the design.

I personally do not make my own boards but enjoy looking at the schematics and layouts
to learn and if I can buy a board I use the layout to make mods.

i can understand scs (sasho from varna) complete - i have seen the trouble years ago
seen photo from him and his wife and thought right guy

the problem you have is that your "friends" or neighboor steel your ideas and make money of that
but if you have a good idea or some better layouts you could offer us something and if this are self produced pcb boards i would take some of them only to support work

i spent my self hundres of euros for testing new layout and often see that most is fake or not completed
and every time i read somethink like 1€ coin at 45cm in air i know ok the next best iof the world diy detector fake but i will try - thats my hobby

i have any respect for your work but if you are not ready to show or share something useful than dont talk about it keep it for you and make buisness from it if you think you must do it

since i am here in this forum i have learned so much but thats inly possible if someone is ready to share his knowledge
if i would start to adapt an layout from a shematic i need a week or longer because of family i have maybe 1H every night i can do something for my hobby

i share also all i have to actual projects but only if it is prooved as working i dont share wrong datas to see how people burn their components (money)

if you have completed something succesful and you dont show it than dont scream it out writ something like i have finished it works but i will not share ... point

spot on bente one, this is a collaboration thread, but i understand scs completely, and bernte one, but this is a minelab detector, and i dont really think its worth the risk to the forum, it does not matter how old this design is, we all know what minelab can be like.
scs, why not give bernte one the file via p.m.(on the understanding it stays out of the forum), but if you do, dont tell others here, or the something for nothing brigade will spam your inbox with requests for it.
too reiterate my view, i dont think the files should be posted publicly in this instance, but i have to say that this thread is an evolving collaboration and as such, those working on such a project should not mention their project progress if they are not going to give the details, as carl says keep your trap shut.
when its your own personal design its your call, but on project like this where there are a few working on it, its totally different, at the end of the day someone else will simply release their version sooner or later, but it is not the kind of design that should be reproduced though at least not with production in mind.
as for those that think holding back information is ok generally, in a public forum where lots of users are reverse engineering that same project, you simply dont understand the premise of geotech.
its not about whether its free info or not, 99.9% of geotech is given freely, that which is not and involves cost(buying boards programmed ic's etc), then the poster usually makes the files available for those unable to buy them, if your working on a project and do not intend to share your work, then dont contribute as carl says "shut your trap".
