TX pulse frequency 86 pulses per second.

Sample pulse delay 60 - 150uS, adjusted by reject control.

Delay for second sample pulse 1100uS

    Sample pulse widths 45uS.

The coil inductance should be 500uH for TX and RX, with a TX resistance of 1.5 ohms, including the cable.

Because of the low pulse rate and wide spacing between 1st and 2nd sample pulses, the unit can be affected by low frequency rf signals and power line noise. The MK2 version has a TX frequency control that can often counteract this. Also the integrator TC is adjustable (response speed) - slower smooths out the noise more.

For best signal on any object, the TX pulse width should be about the same as the decay time of the object signal. A large copper pan could have a decay time considerably longer than 500uS and not give as good a range as a similar size object of less conductive metal.

Ground signals from iron mineralised ground will be strong with a single TX/RX coil, but the Superscan was also designed to use separate TX and RX coils. An outer TX with and inner RX of half the diameter will give much less ground response. Also you can lay a big 10m x 10m TX coil on the ground, and search within it with a 0.5 or 1m RX.

hello Eric.Superscan how to use the most efficient.
    I couldn't find a manual.
    Thank you.

you have to know i do not keep the secrets from people. all i have i take from this forum. but WHAT TO DO if the people are not able to learn
simplest way to use a search engine of the forum? The Degradation Of Mind. Full inability to do something for yourself.
if i do not have a LAY file it is sure there is not. BTW i do not keep those sprint layout files done by people because they are just trash.

    so ignore this thread.

I did not want to disturb you. I did super scan. but I want to make this pcb.

    thanks for the answer

    1.0 x 1.0 m

You get a ten wire cable, and solder the wires coil.

Hello! I'am over many-many measurment and building 3 microcontroller based discrimination pi metaldetector.
    - Now i know, that is not need two coil for big frame PI discrimination, if you can make very low parasitic capacitant TX and monocoil. I managed it, works fine.
    - My new monocoil pi detector has very-very big distance sensitivity (beercan more than 2 meter in air). But: with thin big sensitivity impossible to use on real field. (perhaps in sand desert or on water surface) It is impasibble, because of soul change. If you move the coil over the coil, on every step there is big change because of very big sensibility... On the former video you see that the coil no moveing, the target move. This is cheating
My detector can signal at that deepth with discrimination, when you move with the frame on field. But impossible to make a usable pi detector with more bigger deepth sensitivity (for this target size). My machine has more sensitivity, full softvere filtering, but not usable on that high sensitivity. I must reduce sentivity on real field. The real deep sensitivity for beercan in real soil, with real sensitivity settin is about 120-140 cm in dicrimination mode. 140cm on low soil clay, and 120cm on high soil clay.

if I understand correctly, the problem is like that. wide detection by adding to the size of the object

Alltime problem. Superscan has no autimatic threshold (tune), so you need set threshhold pot in every step. Delta pulse has auto tune, very useable, fine. Many times i used delta pulse integrator and vco for my deepsearch machines. That is good. But delta pulse tx and preamp has many noise, i used my own tx. If dont want disc, you can use 1 coil, but for good disc must use 2.
