As for Deus 2; there are some slight differences compared to the Deus 1, which are only noticeable after some time of use.
One of the biggest problems I have with some sites is the large amount of bottle caps.
(Small silver coins are often below, a few centimeters)
With the Deus 1 I partially solved that problem by raising the Silencer to 4.
The Deus 1 then successfully discriminated about 60% of the bottle caps.
Deus 2, to my great pleasant surprise; it solves this problem in a much higher percentage, I won't say 100% because I still have a small number of visits to the sites.
However, there is always a "catch 22"!
So far, it has turned out that the deepest program is "mono", and it is one of the three programs that do not have this option (B.Caps).
So for now I cover the fields with 2 custom programs: "mono" in general and customized MFM with B.Caps option, when it is needed.
Conclusion; MFM is more efficient in properly classifying metals.
one of the advantages of multifrequency is good adjustment of the detector's operation by eliminating a certain type of iron..., among other things, bottle caps..
Of course, it is always good to check what effect the iron closure setting can have on the detection results..

1 frequency has more limited possibilities to eliminate certain types of iron...

    • Some time ago I was forced to sell XP Deus 2!
      Damn!
I ran into sudden financial difficulties and it was the only solution at the moment.
A few days after that sad event; I suddenly found myself in a very good financial position again!
Murphy wouldn't be Murphy if he didn't always play with me!

And then a man who urgently needed money came and sold me his new XP Deus 1 with X35 coil!
      And now what?
Now I have two sets of XP Deus 1 and 3 coils with them!
I have the old standard 22.5cm black coil, I have the new X35 28cm coil and I have (my favorite) the white HF elliptical coil.
Life writes novels... that's what they say, I would say: life writes loads of nonsense and nebulosity!

      • The "collateral damage" of the Deus 2 sales story is the windfall of this detector.
        What to say?
Quest still maintains a very good quality of its machines and each new series brings some nice and good innovations.
This time there are more good things.
It's hard for me to evaluate this machine and put it on a list; because I didn't have the opportunity to go out on the real field with it.
But first the superficial impressions are extraordinary.
For that money, how much does it cost; offers a lot indeed!
