Happy Birthday Geotech !! Thanks again to Carl , its been a great 10 years here and I learned a lot , plus had fun reading posts from Techs/Members that live far away in countries I may never visit in my lifetime !! About the contest , It would be nice to have a bunch of prizes of a "complete CD Copy" of this Forum in a huge compressed zip-file , if it could be done . Best Regards...............Eugene52
If I was you, I would put the names of Reg, bbsailor, Max, Qiaozhi and Ivconic in a hat and then draw out the (real) winners!
Hello 1843 . There are a few names you forgot to mention that have been major contributors here on Geotech . A few have passed away , and a few have left to other forums . ME , I do not have enough posts on this forum to win a big prize . I am just very thankful that Geotech is still here and not disappeared like so many other websites . Which is pretty good considering the World situation and the Economy of the past 10 years !!! I have contributed here for at least 8 years so maybe I will get a Geotech Key chain !!!..........Best Regards..........Eugene52
Congratulation and many thanks for making it possible for us to meet with other people interested in metal detectors.
Geotech is a great repository of information.
Congratulations on 10 years of Geotech. This is truly a great resource for anyone interested in DIY detector design, project building or repair. Thank you for your efforts!

I'm sorry... forgot to say KT315, Porkluvr, Geo, ...
So the best way is voting.
There are MANY people who have greatly contributed to these forums. So I want everyone to have a shot at winning, but I'm trying to figure out a way to weight it in favor of participation.
But I want it to be REAL participation... on some forums I see folks who just post a bunch of "Way to go!" messages and not much else. That hasn't happened here, but with a contest it might. Those kinds of posts shouldn't count as an entry.
Looking fer ideas...

P.S.-- I've long thought about a CD of all of Geotech. The main web site isn't too hard, just use a crawler to go through it and build all the pages in HTML (they are currently built on-the-fly using Perl scripts). But the forums are difficult... you would have to have vBulletin, SQL, and Apache all installed.
P.P.S. -- Thanks Esteban for the old TNet post... there were many many 'interesting' LRL discussions on TNet back then!
Ideas= two
Luck! eg.as in simple draw,no rules ,restrictions etc. as in Wow! I Won!Im a new member but I still won,or didnt win.
Contest,as in rules, restriction, guidelines etc.etc. Im a new member/or old member an I contibute,do this,do that an I have the best chance to win because?

thanks 1843! you are also in the List my participation is very low in real. I have not own project, have not articles, have nothing.
what do you know about guys in our part of world? so someones are very active. for example, what have you hear about VLF project SPECTR, with LCD, with godograph and constantly updated software? nothing
these guys try to learn english but have not possibility to answer in real time mode in english like to ivconic. they do much hard and software work, not me. but I see my role to give the right Vector in this white noised world of schematics. 10 years ago we still did PCB's for Tesoro, for Delta Pulse, for Classic. yet 50 years we also will trace Tesoro and 1265х (wow!), tune Delta Pulse, learn White's XLT coil inside. congratulations my friends.
KT315...ehhh, again same attitude!? Now i guess; i must feel "dirty" cose of my english and my appearance here!?
God made woman long time ago; still, these days, we are very interested in those species! Right? More than ever! (dont know about you, but i am!) So... why should we lose interest in something good? When something is really good - it is universally good, for all times. Also dont blame somebodys "english". It is not about "english" - it is about good will and good spirit, so as enthusiasm. Ready to help, share and give. Also sometimes to argue and debate... That is all about. You mostly "vectorize" your native advertisments here. Eversince DP pcb you posted here (long time ago) i havent seen or used anything else from there... If i want some high tech metal detector, than i will buy some new White's, Minelab. Fisher or any else (like i did and do regullary). I will not tend (for sure) to risk and waste money on your "godograph"! This forum is about metal detectors and electronics...I guess you lost your way long time ago. Sober up! You must change your negative attitude upon us here if want to be accepted well. Wish you very best, indeed!
P.S. To make KT315 happy, and for many other reasons, i demand all members here, especially administrator; to exclude me from any eventual draw. I demand , and i will stay at that position.
