version 1.x is not very usable, you could try version 2.0 instead: https://www.geotech1.com/forums/show...449#post269449, the pcb can be updated easily with the schematics, but you would need an additional led to indicate that MCP602 is in saturation and a MCP1525 that gives a precise adc offset of 2.5V, otherwise you might need to edit and recompile the source code to manually adjust your offset e.g. 2.49V that could trigger more noise if if has a different value and/or to tune other parameters that are hard-coded and cannot be changed in the running firmware...
Hello friends
I ran P12F683 led vdi for testing.
led gives late information.
Is it possible to edit?

VDI doesn't matter.
I need explanatory diagram and information to add C-scope 1220 audio vco.
i need your support in this regard.
Is there a PCB floor file with potentiometer for the front panel in the picture?
Best regards

Not really.
The PIC is not a fast processor and there is a bit of math going on to determine metal type.
Same with the other VDI PIC displays (I run the Graphics version).
In field use it is the audio beep that one listens for to know there is a target. Then wave the coil back and forth across the target to get a VDI. The beep is used to 'pin point' target location not the VDI.
I also have the impression that a wrong spool was sold to me. It comes from an Italian dealer via Eb..y. The spool looks exactly like the Quicksilver shown here and is also labeled and was also offered for the Fisher CZ. Maybe a mix up ??? :-(
It is of course tragic if the coils all look the same, but are built differently internally. Indistinguishable for an unsuspecting user.
