Me again sorry i really didn't fully get it, please can anyone provide me with both the vdi and the 2 tones boards working schematics for the pcb making preferably not in russian, or refer me to exact pages in this topic as i found it pretty time consuming and confusing to scroll through more than 280 pages to get the latest working and updated thing, it's great because it shows how people are updating the circuit and collaborating and helping noobs like myself but i got lost in the middle of all the different layouts and edits etc... it's my first time making idx and vlf machines in general so please excuse my ignorance. I have the board without the trimpot i hope it's compatible with both the 2 tones for metal discrimination and the vdi. Also i got my hands on a coil from a friend that's a nokta makro not sure which model as it haven't arrived yet and i was wondering and really hoping it's compatible with idx pro so i don't go through the coil making pain later? Thank you all the geotech community and admins you have been a great help for me in many occasions.

Brother can someone help me? I am in a lot of trouble. I am from India. I have also made idx pro but its metal detection distance is very less, about 10 cm only. I don't know what the problem is and can you tell me the wire connection of all the potentiometer circuits. Please help me. I am very grateful to you.

Here is the correct diagram. Pay attention to the value of the capacitance C37. If the output transistors are heated, look at the pinout (with a tester). It is better to remake the SENS knot as shown in the picture.

    Good morning.
I have put together the most recent IDX-PRO circuit on a breadboard to check its operation, based on the schematic shown below. However, although there are amplitude changes in the Rx signal, there is no reaction in the speaker when passing a metal. In addition, the transistors connected to the speaker get too hot. If someone could advise me on how to check some parts of the circuit to find the error, I would greatly appreciate it.

I have seen several schematic diagrams, but how is the signal for powering the Tx coil generated? It is supposed that the Tx coil should be powered with a sinusoidal signal; however, within the schematic diagram, I don't see any type of generator already implicit in the design. Thank you very much to anyone who reads this and, of course, to anyone who has the patience to provide me with an answer.

I highly recommend not to install R9 regardless of what the schematic or BOM say, which is either 39 ohms or 100 ohms. Instead, install a 200 ohms trimmer and adjust it while you balance your coil. You can preset it at the mentioned resistance in the schematic and start adjusting it from there. You'll notice a difference in detection range. you can always replace the VR with a fixed one after you find the sweet spot between the R9 value and a balanced coil. Keep in mind every time you change the value of R9, your coil will go off balance. So, it's really a matter of adjusting and testing with a scope help of course.

    Good luck!

Q1 & Q2 form a feedback oscillator circuit. The TX coil and I presume an internal capacitor set the oscillation frequency.

Hii Mazixx. Thanks for your reply and yes you are right is not something new and I didn't say there was. For the coils is almost the same, RX is with little lower freq.So far all the parts are found but maybe LF347 is harder to find and can by replaced with TL074 or TL084 I try it LM324 but I don't like the result. Greethings, and Happy Holydays to everyone

    Resonance frequency 6590 Hz max
Capacitance 1uF min, 1.2 uF max (3 caps in parallel)
    Inductance 540 uH nominal
    Resistance 1.6 ohm max
    RX tank circuit
    Resonance freq. 4900 Hz max
Capacitance 30 nF min, 36 uF max (3 caps in parallel)
    Inductance 36 mH nominal
Resistance 70 ohm min, 120 ohm max

I'm not writing that the board won't work, what I mean is that with one capacitor it will be difficult to obtain a given RX frequency of the coil, and by the way, you don't show anything new on your website except the board, connect the coil and show what the frequency is and what this cosmetic gives, In my opinion, it brings nothing new.
there is no need to be offended, just tell me that in order for it to work well, some elements need to be replaced with newer models, and so replace lf347, NE 5534, BC547.BC327,
