The probe was at 10x i knew i could move the trigger up and down and the signal left and right i didnt know there where other types of triggering methods im going to have to wait a few days for those chips to get here while im waiting im going to watch some more videos on oscilloscopes and bust open the user manual and learn how to use all the stuff on mine

It had the wrong chip in it no matter where i looked at it it was horse poop i think i know what you mean moving the wave left and looking at it from the right side but it still all just looked wrong no matter what i tried

    going back a little.
Maybe I'm wrong but in most you scope shots it looks like you are triggering on the leading edge you want to look at the turn off.
try connecting directly to the damping resistor with probe set to 10 x and look at the coil before the pre amp. it may help you to see if your damping is close since your not seeing proper signal at the preamp.

I googled it and it said it works its just like adding a fuse but didn't realize it also means the resistor gets a lot bigger

I already asked about 1/4 watt and such about resisters a long time ago here when i first started here,
i thought the higher wattage would be better and handle more current because im a electrician, bigger is better but not here

Once i get mine working ill tell you what numbers i used i learned the hard way about getting 1/4 watt resistors instead of high wattage lol

Thats whats keeping me from ordering parts, dont know what i am looking at if its not the correct number,i have already asked a few times already on a couple parts, from another build
I ordered a kit from silverdog for the mpp beach which i have to build so it will be my first build before i even tackle this.
I bought a pre made board from a member here for a surf pro and cant get it to work and there is no build file so i dont know what to check for test points, learned that already.
