Despite my health problems, for the last few months I have been working intensively on a completely new device that I could also classify as a "magnetometer/gradiometer".
At first it seemed to me that I would have an easy job. However, I was wrong.
A big and serious job has opened up, which I am now slowly bringing to an end these weeks.
The device in question is placed in an ordinary "tube", which will have only one "soft" button for "ON/OFF" and nothing more. Everything else happens in the Android app.
There is two-way BT communication.
The device will have two versions, a version that will work with sensors that have a frequency output and devices that have a voltage output.
The use of existing FGM-3 sensors is possible. For the version that outputs voltage; I specially designed a small accessory, a converter that will be added to the FGM-3 sensor and convert frequency into voltage, very linear, stable and with excellent resolution.
And in my plans until autumn, I also have the production of a special "FGM" sensor that will have both frequency and voltage at the output.
I must mention that the previous cooperation with my colleague from China has been DISCONTINUED and is no longer ongoing. Reasons are subjective in nature and irrelevant to the topic.
My colleague from China will work for himself from now on. Whether they will still offer sensors or not, I don't know or care.
So from this moment on I do not stand behind his products on Aliexpress and have nothing to do with it anymore.
As for the new device, I had to write almost the entire code from scratch. I added many improvements to the code, more accuracy, more linearity, more options, etc.
The previous experiences with the sale of "Euromag3D" are surprisingly very positive, most customers contact me regularly, I collect their experiences and it turned out to be a very good story in the end. I must mention here that this is the case only with the devices and kits that I have personally built and sold so far. I am not implying here anything that came from my former co-worker from China, who persistently did not listen to me and made many disastrous mistakes that have caused me great harm so far.
But there is something good in everything bad. I learned something new and very valuable from that cooperation. That I have to be much more cruel to people and that I never trust people. And of course, that I always charge for my work in advance.
For now, here's a short video testing the beta version of the Android app:
