  • Ivconic's new device

Despite my health problems, for the last few months I have been working intensively on a completely new device that I could also classify as a "magnetometer/gradiometer".
At first it seemed to me that I would have an easy job. However, I was wrong.
A big and serious job has opened up, which I am now slowly bringing to an end these weeks.
The device in question is placed in an ordinary "tube", which will have only one "soft" button for "ON/OFF" and nothing more. Everything else happens in the Android app.
    There is two-way BT communication.
The device will have two versions, a version that will work with sensors that have a frequency output and devices that have a voltage output.
The use of existing FGM-3 sensors is possible. For the version that outputs voltage; I specially designed a small accessory, a converter that will be added to the FGM-3 sensor and convert frequency into voltage, very linear, stable and with excellent resolution.
And in my plans until autumn, I also have the production of a special "FGM" sensor that will have both frequency and voltage at the output.
I must mention that the previous cooperation with my colleague from China has been DISCONTINUED and is no longer ongoing. Reasons are subjective in nature and irrelevant to the topic.
My colleague from China will work for himself from now on. Whether they will still offer sensors or not, I don't know or care.
So from this moment on I do not stand behind his products on Aliexpress and have nothing to do with it anymore.
As for the new device, I had to write almost the entire code from scratch. I added many improvements to the code, more accuracy, more linearity, more options, etc.
The previous experiences with the sale of "Euromag3D" are surprisingly very positive, most customers contact me regularly, I collect their experiences and it turned out to be a very good story in the end. I must mention here that this is the case only with the devices and kits that I have personally built and sold so far. I am not implying here anything that came from my former co-worker from China, who persistently did not listen to me and made many disastrous mistakes that have caused me great harm so far.
But there is something good in everything bad. I learned something new and very valuable from that cooperation. That I have to be much more cruel to people and that I never trust people. And of course, that I always charge for my work in advance.
For now, here's a short video testing the beta version of the Android app:

And now a little joke for the end...
Previous experiences with "project sales" (dating from 2019) brought me a very valuable experience in understanding things.
I have had several thousand contacts and correspondence with various people around the world, since 2018, when I first presented my "Euromag3D" in public.
And on the topic of selling the entire project. Ha, ha, ha!
So I'm going to joke here now and say that this new project of mine is also for sale as a complete project.
My "book" of jokes and taunts is not finished yet, there are plenty of blank pages to fill!
Notice is given; only serious enterprising people (with lots of money) can contact me about my new project.
All the others who have torn underpants, are barefoot and with black under their fingernails... please do not contact me, I beg you from the bottom of my heart! Spare me!

The last sentence is very mean.
I thought you were an Arab man.
        Weren't you poor?
I'm crossing you off as a colleague.

Thank you, I take it as a favor.
            You will learn...
            ...

            I was never poor.
I just live in a country that is closed both inside and outside, so one cannot monetize one's work outside the local market.
I have always belonged to the middle class (it doesn't exist anymore).
I never had too little or too much.
I think that is the right measure.
I lost all altruism very late, should have been earlier.
A very wise man from Australia, present here on the forum, very subtly and culturally tried to reason with me.
Unfortunately, I didn't listen to him in time.
Instead of writing me off the list of colleagues (we never were) it's better to learn from my mistakes.
A trace of altruism is still in me, because here I am publicly giving (would you believe it; it's for free) my bad example from which others can learn a lot.

Lose "Hellmann's" and the other junk in the tube on the left.
              Also lose the fatty cheese.
              The rest is ok.

              ...

              Oh I get it now!
You think my health problems are "systematic"?
That's why you recommend a healthy diet!
              No! That's not the case!
              I have physical health problems.
I put too much stress on my right arm and shoulder and caused severe complications to a pair of nerves that extend from the spine,
through the neck to the elbow of the right arm.
And it has been causing excruciating pain for several months now.
Despite my years, I still regularly expose myself to very heavy, one might say extreme, physical exertion.
              And it takes its toll.
As far as nutrition is concerned; I'm like "Alien (vs Predator)"... there is no "poison" that can harm me.
              How is that possible?
The answer is: extreme physical exertion and extreme physical activity.
              A vicious circle...

I woke up a while ago in agony.
This is looking more and more like a torn muscle or a torn nerve...
I have watched dozens of YouTube videos where different chiropractic quacks give totally opposite explanations and totally opposite advice.

                    Hello everyone,
I am the Chinese collaborator who previously worked with Ivica Conic. Yes, we have terminated our collaboration, which was an outcome neither of us desired. To be precise, Ivica Conic unilaterally ended the partnership after receiving sales commissions in advance for products still in the warehouse. Nevertheless, I am grateful for this collaboration, as it introduced me to the field of fluxgate gradiometers. Through extensive experimentation, I learned how to produce high-quality fluxgate sensors. I am even more grateful for the termination, as it has motivated me to delve deeper into MCU and 3D software code to develop new products. Importantly, I retain exclusive intellectual property rights to Euromag 3D.
I am not a conventional "businessperson." My focus has always been on technical R&D and product development, and since I work on this part-time, I rarely visit forums. This is why I only noticed this post now. For the record, I am far from destitute—my income places me comfortably within the top 20%.
                    Current Projects:
Triaxial Fluxgate Sensor: Combines three orthogonally arranged FLC100 sensors with temporal processing to eliminate mutual interference.
Gradiometer-Specific Fluxgate Sensor: Based on the FGM-3 design, this adds a series-connected coil to the upper and lower sensors. The upper sensor’s output is converted to drive the coil, neutralizing ambient magnetic fields. This dramatically improves the FGM-3’s sensitivity, stability, and linearity.
                    Gradiometer Development Boards (Three Versions):
                    Arduino Nano + FGM-3
                    Arduino Nano + ADS1115 + FLC100
                    ESP32 + AD623 + FLC100
All versions are compatible with major 3D software platforms, including Euromag 3D and Visualizer.
                    Technical Insights:
Many attempt to replicate the FLC100 but misunderstand its closed-loop fluxgate architecture. Simply upgrading the magnetic core won’t boost sensitivity (though premium cores reduce noise, enhancing resolution—visible only with 16-bit ADCs). At 10-bit (ATmega328 or 12-bit (ESP32) resolutions, differences vanish.
The FGM-3 is an exceptional high-sensitivity, low-noise sensor, but mastering its use demands expertise.
                    A Thought Experiment:
Why do professional fluxgate sensors for archaeology/geology achieve ultra-high sensitivity, while mainstream hobbyist models (e.g., 0km) remain orders of magnitude less sensitive?
When time permits, I plan to write a book—much like Carl’s works—to unravel these mysteries.

hykj888 I am glad that you are making progress.
I can confirm and testify several things from your post:
Yes, that's right, the last batch of FGM sensors you made are great and even though we don't work together anymore; I recommend them to those interested.
I currently have a stock of quality sensors so I don't need new ones, but when I use up this stock; maybe I will be your customer in the future.
Another thing I can testify to is that you are a young and very smart man with many skills. You have certain knowledge and you are progressing quickly.
All in all, I still have a very good opinion of you.
But I ended the cooperation because you and I didn't always get along very well and because of that I lost a lot of valuable time.
Is it a bad online translator that caused misunderstanding many times... I don't think that's the main reason.
I think the main reason is the difference in mentality and motives for cooperation.
My only motive for cooperating with you was "business" and making money.
And it seems to me that your main motive was learning new things, progressing and expanding your horizons.
Neither motive is bad in itself. But it is obvious that this mismatch of motives cannot bring fruitful cooperation in the long run.
And there is only one sentence in your post that I have to comment on:
"...Importantly, I retain exclusive intellectual property rights to Euromag 3D..."
                      This is not correct.
You only bought one older version of the HEX file and that's it.
You didn't buy the source code for the processor and you don't have it, you didn't buy the source code for the Android app and you don't have it... both are my personal intellectual property until I officially sell it to a buyer and a contract is written about it.
It's true that you and I talked about it, about selling the entire project and signing a contract that would guarantee you full ownership... but it never happened.
Not because I didn't want to, on the contrary. Already because you said that you are not interested in it for now.
So you don't own any intellectual property of my personal project. You are not and you will not be until we make a contract and you pay.
However... "Euromag3D" is already an "old" project, still good but outdated.
I have switched to newer devices, I write code in a completely different way, I improve both software and hardware... so I have nothing against you still selling "Euromag 3D" with that HEX file that you honestly paid for.
So I won't give you a problem about that. This is a public forum, every word written here is a "document" and "evidence"... so there you go,
in the name of good emotions and memories of the days when we cooperated well; I publicly confirm that you have the right to do whatever you want with that hardware and that HEX file.
I'm moving to a totally new technology anyway, I don't feel any jeopardy of interest on your part... so I wish you good business success in the future.

And now a little joke (there's a lot of truth in every joke)... I'm attaching a picture of a rolled up paper.
That sum is the price of the new "Stick" magnetometer/gradiometer project. (photos and video posted above earlier, posts #1 and #3)
Whichever of you guesses correctly (5% error is allowed, because it is a rather tricky figure) the amount in question; will have a 30% discount on the purchase of the project!
The "competition" lasts until the project is sold.

                        P.S.
Carl, if you don't mind, make this last post a special and conspicuously visible topic on the main page of the forum, so that as many interested people as possible can see it.
Let this be a "competition" to make the forum less dead (recently it has been, unfortunately).
