    I tried 74hc14 schmitt trigger and unfortunately the same issues, have not changed anything ... either microcontroller firmware is not compatible with the sensors or sensors have a problem ... but strange that there are several projects used these sensors and never talk about these problems ...Mag-Schield for exemple On the fgsensors.com site.

    Have you looked at the signal with an O'scope?

    For FG-3+ no need RC filter. It is integrated inside sensor.
    For my logger I did add also schmid trigger on input. Result are much better
