What is ITMD?

I attached a picture with the wave forms taken from VD3/VD4 + R6 (1K0). I would like to know if that is what we normally see when the Delta Pulse is working Ok?

to expect from the circuit --- ITMD was written for beginners. ITMD is perhaps RTFM for breadboarders.

ok. what you have to see on limiting diodes? the limited 'delta pulse'. good start for understanding what is delta pulse in Delta Pulse.

Here is my first attached image:



I am beginning to make a Deltapulse. I have use a breadboard to test the driver circuit (timer + power). I used a function generator to created a pulse at 120Hz (1.2% duty) and ~100uS (pulse width)


The coil is:
25 cm, 25 turns, 0.5mm wire -> 506 uH, 2.0 Ohms


This is the pic taken from the oscilloscope; I would like to know if that is what I have to expect from the circuit; it was taken with the scope connected to the damper diodes.

you must see a TX signal on output of preamp. you must get an oscilloscope to reseach signals.
you must set pots in position according the Instruction and DO NOT TOUCH THEM ANYMORE -!

Kt as i try to find out what?s happening the detector working now with coil connected by now the problem is i try to detect a metal object with no luck.it doesnt do anything,so what to check now buddy?i open it and sounds like before as it should i lower the pontesiometers until it stays quiet but when i pass objects didn?t detect them..☹️

your problem is not shield. if your MOSFET is burnt then if you connect a coil you get 'short circuit' between power lines.
your power supply goes out and :::: no sound.

at first stage i recommended do NOT solder MOSFET in board (Point 7 of the instruction). to check T3 signal on 'is' and then only solder transitor.
