For the design - you are to use any of a PCB design programe Professionally and this one is enough - for the next DP project tried to PIM-2 DELTA DIGITAL it is beautiful - for any project you can do to isolate use a full sheet of copper From under pcb equivalent of the pcb plate connected with any of the bipolar{-,+} battery.

Schemes always discussed, but rarely PCB design.
Proper PCB layout is fundamenrtal if desired good performance of the MD.
A PCB incorrect, is the cause of noise affecting the sensitivity and stability.
In some cases, I perform GND bridges on the lines and negartivas and positive to improve the performance of the DP.
I'm thinking about my next DP with single-sided PCB, but the use of double-sided PCB. In the upper panel would conduct the bridges for the GND.
Hope it works, seen something similar in the Clone PCB PI.

I'm with you Kt315 in this direction because SMD needs great skill to be installed by hand , because this technique needs to be programmed machines and high efficiency in the work , and most of the collecting projects do not have these skills making them collecting any project difficult.

No, I do not. SMD is not so popular as you think. I have a huge bunch of Hammerhead PCBs in SMD, Carl Moreland has a bunch of the boards for shipping too. Nobody wishes to order the SMD. Although I plan redesign Bounty Hunter IV, it is SMD board. nice schematic with a potential, IMO.

you only will waste your time. if you will get a problem NOBODY is not be able to help you. you see yourself - people constantly ask to help, but there are NOT the effective suggestion. that is because they uses unknown PCB layot or do PCB at marrowbones.

Generaly i agree with you, but the major problem is not in software, the major problem is in knowlage from electronic becayse DIYer here are not electronic expert.
Converting some devices pcb from thru hole to SMD is peace of cake.
I didn't planned to asking someone for help at all.
Thru hole electronic will become praistoric for couple years

Generaly good pcb software is only what peopple need.
I see a lot of peopple here usin Sprint Layout and it is baddddddddddddddddddddd software
praistoris software i hate sprint layout, ugly bad, worstttt!!! (modren replacement for alkoholic pencil)
I used it previously and its werry easy to make mistake in sprint layot
when i "discover" diptrace another story begin.....

Positiv 20 is medicine for that.....

When i have some free time i will do that.
