I prefer to have colleagues here who can give advice and share opinions, and I also like to learn new things and make modifications to metal detecting.

        Hi
The PCB for the TDI circuit hasn’t been publicly released by anyone, but the GoldScan 5 circuit is easily available in the GoldScan 4 thread, and you can download it with a quick search.

But that shouldn't stop you from replicating the TDI.
There are practically no differences between the GS5 and the original TDI design. The TDI was later changed to use a micro but that won't affect depth, and there may have been other minor changes to improve manufacturability. The TDI-SL is quite different. I don't know what a GoldScan 5 Lite is.

                  GS-5LITE

It looks like a solid project with a tested pcb. See post #542

Hello, colleagues, first I will build the sound part to test it on a surf master, but what value do you think this resistor is? Thanks Click image for larger version

That resistor was not soldered on the pcb when I drew the schematic. Just use the 50K pot.

I posted an updated schematic see post 19

Thanks Altra. I also want to ask about the LM385, how many volts should it be? And one more question, the TX pulse of the TDI high is 100 uS, and how much is the low?

The LM385 is adjustable, when V-adj is connected to the anode the voltage would be 1.24v at the cathode. See the datasheet. The Tx off time is adjustable based on the Tx frequency. With a frequency of 3khz a full cycle is 333us, so the off time is about 233uS.

This resistor is designed to reduce the value of the potentiometer to bring the threshold within normal limits. Its value is established experimentally.

The TDI pro schematic is not tested and still has mistakes. It is for reference and repairs only. Eduardo's GS5-lite project is tested and proforms like a TDI. That would be a good to build see post 542
