Goodmorning everyone. I mounted the second pickini for my brother and I found some problems. All sounds are ok. but he does not feel the metals. I'm using a surf pi 1.2 coil with 3.4 ohms of resistance. it's too much? Thanks a lot to everyone. greetings dabbo

Some rough calculations:
From the technical specs: http://users.telenet.be/willaert/MD/...technical.html
Current = 135 mA.
24V in and 12V out: 12V drop x 0.135 = 1.62W dissipation in the 12V regulator!
From the datasheet: no heatsink and 25 C ambient: max 3W dissipation.
In theory, this might work. Attach a small heat sink when the regulator gets too hot.
Best regards,
- Bernard
