Thanks for the reply. I'm trying to simulate my IB coil. Two round Rx coils, one inverted to cancel with a Tx coil surrounding the Rx coils. I see know I have only one Rx coil(L5). I want the Rx coil to be zero during Tx with no target then read the target when I add it like the bench circuit.

Larn lot, no nonsense free energy.
In the example it says to comment out K5 for no target... Actually for no target, comment both K4 and K5. K1, K2, K3 describe the IB coil couplings... K4 and K5 describe the target couplings. The actual coupling coefficients for K1 and K2 probably should be lower, but this is the correct concept.

Clarification: This would be for a concentric IB coil.

Thanks for the reply. A picture of the coil I'm trying to simulate. http://www.geotech1.com/forums/showt...422#post235422 My simulation has one end of the Rx coil grounded, bench circuit Rx connected to a differential amplifier floating. I think the rest of the circuit is close. Don't know if K statements are correct but seems to work. Changed R2 to 1ohm on your simulation for a 10usec target, same Rx trace as 10000usec target.

As before ... please don't pollute this thread (or anywhere else in the forum) with 'free energy' nonsense.
This stuff has no relation to metal detector technology, and we have already received complaints about these postings.
cr_2.zip seems to make more sense than cr.zip. A long time constant target(10000usec)is still the only way I've found to make the simulation look like the bench scope picture for a ferrite core. A 10000usec target should have very little decay after Tx off. Charted some data looking at integrator out. Integrator gain, X1 for 10usec sample or X10 for 100usec sample. Amplifier gain about X450. Integrator out amplitude is fairly constant with decay time with the ferrite core. Not perfect, but with 100uv integrator out resolution, integrator gain X1/450 amplifier gain(.22uv resolution at coil) maybe close enough. Charted change in integrator out amplitude, target minus no target looking at one sample with other samples disabled. The stainless razor looked flat on the scope with constant rate Tx on but isn't as flat as the ferrite core after Tx off, so maybe long time constant target still questionable.
Tried sampling 1x1inch aluminum foil at 740 to 840usec after Tx off. Get a change in reading about minus 1/10 the ferrite core. Think there should be no change for such a short TC target. No change if I disable Tx driver command. Change increases if I increase the 1x1inch foil layers(1,2,3,4 or 5). Any suggestions why I get change in integrator output or something to try.
