    Hi,

    Hi,
    Simonbaker.
    Yes results are very good.
But this is thanks to Ivconic,Max,Qiaozhi,kurtie100 who posted the file and other top members here.Because without all the usefull info posted here the PCB only is usless.
    Thanks for the info.
Did you finish your TGSL?What are results?
    See you.

    Hi,
    Eugeen.
    How are you.
    Thanks.
So Max have mannaged to made much bigger coil then Tesoro )))
    He,He,He man never nows?
    Great

    12" x 10" Widescan Coil
The 12x10 widescan is designed to penetrate deeply in highly mineralized sites that are not burdened with an
abundance of junk. The Double D windings “see” 70% less ground effect than a concentric-style winding.
This will give you smoother operation in areas where the ground matrix tends to shift. This coil will
utilize our Monolithic shielding. Carbon fibers and graphite powder have been mixed into the raw plastic
used to form the coils. This technique provides an even RF shielding across the entire surface of the coil
    Hello Tiktak , 12 in. x 10 in. is approximately = 30.48 cm. x 25.40 cm.... I think it is correct ??..........Eugene52

Afther batt check there shouldnt be such buzz.
Have you completed the hol PCB?
    If not what you excpect.
Also the coil must be nulled right way.
All datas are right.I have two TGS and both working like hell.
Buy the way I were fieldtesting the second TGS again yesterday. And were amaized.I were able
to detect 25usC from around 30cm in air.And almost the same in the ground.
    So device is worth efforts.
And to tell you the true my first TGS were working perfect from the first switch on.
    Very good results!

    also, 1" = 2.54 cm

    hi

is it normal to hear buzzing sound when osc. on TGS starts?

-i am going step by step ,first power supply then osc. and i noted that when
    coil is conected sound appears
    going on nervs

    Dear unregistered robert

Maybe you are get more magnetic field from Coils of your works.

Please relax and get a trip.

if you were here enought time You have to know Stevan.

He is master of tesero on this forum.
I love this forum . please be a gentelman.

    Have a good day

The overlap area is not sealed jet, and can be adjusted. What is normal readings for signal amplitude, when coil is nulled so that it reads 0v on source of TR5?

Hi, I´m building a Ivsonics 255mm coil and have some questions about "nulling".
Main body of coil is already sealed with epoxide.
I´m measuring pin 7 of LF353 with scope and source of TR5 with multimeter (200mV range).
The lowest amplitude of signal on scope I can get is about 0,05V, but then voltage on TR5 is -12,6mV. When I adjust coil on 0,0mV on TR5 , signal amplitude on LF is about 1V. I thought that normal is under 0,1V for nulled coil ? The GEB trimmer is on middle positsion. I can adjust voltage with geb trimmer also 0,0mV for first variant, but then trimmer is near to one end. Sorry for unregistred, but if I solve this puzzle, I have time for registering and maybe for some pictures. This is my second TGSL, first was TGS and it works good already about a year .

Why "unregistered"? Are you the sanctimony mouse and fear to use your registered name? And who the fock is Stevan? You?
btw my name is Robert, not Stevan....
Go somewhere and drop.... you know what...

    Hi Stevan maybe TİKTAK wonder ;
Ha, i knew it! Today i made separatelly 1265 audio stage from schematic above and connected it to TGSL. It is working like hell! Just as i assumed; it is giving to TGLS quite new dimension. Now TGSL audio is extra strong and adjustable, also very rich and it has also sort of "bang" at clear signals!!! Ha,ha,ha! I wasted so many days trying to modd TGSL's audio...but all the time i had ready solution right in front of my eyes! Sheeesh!!
I had fear to meet some signal level isssues here, but i didnt. All is working perfectly from a very start. At TGSL's last stage, LM358 there is 27K resistor goes straight to MPSA13 base. I disconnected MPSA13 and composite signal from 4024, replace 27K with 10K and than connected straight to 1265 audio, and it is working like hell! Excellent! Best audio mod on TGSL so far!
But this experiment has much greater meaning for me; now i can understand much better philosophy of Fisher 1265 too. Actually i thought 1265 has something specially good soluted in previous stages that makes such good audio, such distincive and cognizable specific just to this serie. I was wrong.
Now with this audio stage TGSL is absolute superior in all the aspects to 1265. I will prepare schematic revision and post at TGSL thread...
    This was real success..!
But if i wasnt dealing with 1265 last couple days, probably i would never got this fantastic idea....so..again proved that real work, experimenting and hard labour cant be ever replaced with plain philosophy. Proved so many times to me so far....

Now... few questions will remain opened for the future; with setup like this one TGSL will have 2 threshold stages...ha,ha... also 4024 lost part of important role....could be replaced with some simple divider 1/2 to run negative voltage generation stage...
and apetite now grows more; is it easier to achieve audio discrimination (2 tone) etc...etc....huh...neverending story!
