I have a simple question concerning VDI, how to correctly set up "THRESHOLD" at VDI options? It is always have to be at max "10" or it depends on something?

    surrey unable to post pictures.
.7 mm looks to be between 21 and 22 AWG depending on insulaton but I think a bit thicker than 22 AWG. If you can find a way to share pics or video of your coil I would like to see it.

BTW. I am just about finished a 10" concentric for IDX using similar wire and construction methods. It is working very well on the workbench. I need to form a pair of shells yet but will post up some pics soon.

Yes, this is true. I still get 15V PP across the coil though and works just fine with 22 Gauge.
Dropping wire size to 26 AWG will cause noticable drop in amplitude to about 12V PP.
Increasing wire gauge to 20 AWG does not increase amplitude but adds more bulk and weight, plus much harder to work with.
