    Pillar,

I would be interested in such a work. I would like to know what capabilities you would be aiming at. Several of us here have more than just a simple look in the ground goals. (check my previous posts)

    Thanks

    Hello

    Hey all,

I have a BS in Applied Math and a Minor in Physics from UC Davis. I currently work as a software engineer. I am taking post-graduate Electrical Engineering classes while I work but I am thinking of going back to school to get my PhD in EE. I plan on building, from the ground up, a GPR system with all of the software as well. I would make all the hardware and software opensource with GPL license. Does this interest anyone?

    GPR

    Hello,

We are interested in GPR project. Did you developed PC-based GPR?

I begin a development of easy-to-make and PC-based GPR .It will be open project and everyone can assist with ideas, check up the assembly or develop the software.
My vision for GPR is : small output power, in 0,9-3GHz band, narrow beam antenas and use some bionics design.

    Hi,
What do you mean by "natural emanation of energy" ? CCD chip consist ~380000 photoelements. Nipkov's disc can reduce numbers of photoelements to only 1 , but it needs mechanical system.
Some crystalline structures has piezoeffect, nonlinear VA characteristic or something else.

For a GPR it coud be usefull 2,4 Ghz video transmiter,in puls transmiting, and for a reciver a simple shotky diode+shf fet low noise, for a signal mesurment (distance from a target) a modifed circuit of a laser distance meter.

    Hello
This photo is from old book "Buried & Sunken Treasure"1974.
This girl was hunting for coins along the tide line...And coins are not in iron.
Unfortunly i can see nobody have shematic of this device. Its a powerful two box for coin hunting,i think...

    Regards

This is not coin locator, one coin is too small to be find with this unit.

Interesting use of pvc. The ends are 2"x1" tees on about 3' of pipe leading to what looks to be threaded adapters on a 2" pipe mounted on top of a 3" pipe. The really funny part is that she is listening thru a stethoscope that seems to be coming out of the handle. Potential scam? Never have seen one like this. Could be a home made prototype.
