It will work fir sure but ceramic capacitors are somewhat non-linear in their frequency and voltage responses, compared to film capacitors. Another issue with ceramic capacitors is that they tend to behave as microphones, thus picking up ambient sound and modulating the voltage across them accordingly.

Ivconic found that standart coil work best for him. In my case the double planar spider wave coil works best for me but by now im using a 3dss coil which is easy to manuever underwater.. be aware if you will using the standard coil never put shielding to it except the cable.

Instead of standard planar coil you make 2 spider wave coil "3dss". Example is one 4" 3dss and 1 8.5" 3dss then put it together in series to end of the small one and start of the big one. You will be amazed how sensitive it is.

300-360uH will be good in felezjoo.

Sensitivity 12-16 until no falsing, frequency 220, pulse w 100, delay 0, integ 44. Try that.

Try yo use 3dss coil or a simple mono coil.. do not make test on iron infested area where pi doesnt work..

With mono coil it doesnt have iron rejection, i dug 1mx1mx20cm and fill it with sand and pick all iron on it, just to test a coil, i think there should be no iron fragment around it. All pi detector work, except pickini its not emi friendly

I think i need to shield it, i have cursed soil here , i dont know if this normal to have voltage on the soil.

Do i need graphite conductive spray or just foil...
