    hi matrix
    dp 2 is a good detector
    you can use 12V7A battery for that
    thats normaly current is 150ma
    good luck!

    sensitivity = pump out pulse WIDTH (POWER), that you see on old schematic called by strange word NOISE. try maximum value 500us for to increase the sens.

    Delta Pulse was designed for 12 Volts.
    I try to give more tension, 15-16 Volts, but stops working.
    When the low battery voltage, the sensitivity decreases somewhat.
    Use fully charged batteries, is the best option.

    if for coins tune first strobe delay to 10...15us meaning preset of MAIN DELAY pot.

    you are the crazy lunatics there guys... you are fantastically contumacious guys trying remake DP to hunt coins... written many times, thousands times, DP is not for coins, but you again and again try to lead DP find coins... CRAZY WORLD!

    for deeper you can not increase PPS - there is not a frequency in PI, there is only PPS, Pulses In Second, because PI, - because you should economy your battery reserve.
    try to increase to 300 PPS and you will get Sniffer XR71, if you are so experemental guy. 26 cm is not a coil for deeper, because deeper. deeper is working with big coils, because deeper.
    Thank you kt315, I will try. I need a coil for small items,, like a coins.

    you may be have to look in QED side if want an explicit detector on gold. this subject I mean Delta Pulse is not for you and leave it. Delta is deeper working in all metal, has simplest in realisation schematic.

    flat coil is better or normaly coil?thank you

    Look it

    I use cat5 for my frame 1mx1m 2turx8 = 16 turs is good for me

    and for my coil 36cm 6.1Ohm 459uH it is Best deep 90 cm for a printed circuit plate
    20x15 cm in cooper

    Like signals get connected to like signals.

    For instance:
    TR1 = TR1
    TR2 = TR2
    TR3 = TR3
    and etcetera.

    "Shorthand" schematic notation so that the designer would not have to run signal wires all over the place, looking like a bowl of spagetti.

    I would like to see you (or anybody) try to make a 1m x 1m flat wound coil. That would be a neat trick, but a waste of time.
    No, don't mess with spiral wound coils until you become expert.

    A 1m x 1m rectangular coil has been described here many times. Yes, depending on what coil you use a different damper may be required.

    You might try:
    10t 0.35mm wire PVC or Teflon insulated wire. Not magnet wire.
    1m x 1m rectangular form
    result:
    ~450uH, 7 ohms (these are wild estimates)
    >40.2m of wire is required.
    If your current damping resistor works with the coil you described earlier, it should probably work with the coil I just described.

    The problem with what I just told you is that, wrapping the wires tightly is necessary but becomes difficult with a large coil form.
    Some people like to use Cat-5 wire and splice individual sections together. I can't really help you with that except to tell you that it has been described before, do your research (google.com search is good). READ previous posts in this thread.
