    ABOUT delta pulse schema

I built delta pulse . But it is not working properly.
ı saw that there are 2 schema about delta pulse one of them there are connections cd4538' s 8. and 16. legs -V +V but one of schema not showing connection to this legs which shema is true?

Geo or onebody answer this I will be glad.

one more thing VD12 and VD13 connection ways different because connection of R s place changed new model pcb by kt315.
I dont know it is important or not

    Replace

In the DP i can replace the 4538 ICs by the 4528 ????

    Thank

    Coil 25 cm

Hi Ivconic.I tested the coil 25 cm with 37 turns 0.5mm . Also i chahged the frequency at 370 Hz and dumper resistor at 1k1 (a resistor 2k2 paralel with the first dumper). No special differences. Stability is very good at first 30min. After half hour the IRF is heats a litle (at full power) and the detector comes unstable. It detects a soda can at 70 cm and a 1 litre paint can at 85 cm a coin 2EURO (25mm) at 28 cm and an old 100dr (30mm) at 35 mm.

    Oh dear !!!

It was not intentionally to promote PI detector at all !
By coincidence i choose PI to make again after some years.
I have nothing against 2 boxes. I intend to make 2 box in future for sure.
I would like to make copy of TM 808, but pcb is buging me. Geo suggest me
"light" project like Bucaneer, but i would like TM 808 anyway. I am to lazy to
draw pcb, so i am waiting to find some easy pcb for it on the .net ....
Other 2 box projects on the .net does not look enough interesting to me...
    Best regards!
Geo, i wish you nice trip....when you return we will continue this saga...

    hi my friends
´thanks esteban for your traductions to geo and ivconic of my commentaries
is true, sometimes is necesary one detector how delta pulse, for detection of small and big objets in special conditions , or in city examinations, also the great coils is not versatile for travel, is very busy the transportations or in equipment in groups o travel mountain , these big coils in not custom for detectorist man, the solution i think is one two box, size or rod adjustable dimensions, large o short, two boxs accomplise in one box of simple transportation, is very versatile , is not affected for ground of mineralization, one question on delta pulse, : ? if this is stable o affected for heat of sun in stabilized circuit of cap, and ics, or is unstable or affect for electrifications of radiation of machines electrics how refrigerators, tvs, etc resgards detectoman mexico

What ever result i get, always want some more..I keep thinking is it possible
to do 20cm coil to detect 2 cm coin over 35cm!? Only one detector i saw can
do that...Relic Hawk...coin is made from mixture of Cu and brass...Hard to test
with! O.K. when you try it please post results here.

    Hi ivconic.
Today i leave for Albania for recreation. Next week i will come back and i will test the coil. i believe that for coin detecting 25..30 cm coils are most suitable.
If you can detect a 2 cm coin at 30..32 cm it is very good.
Btw bbsailor made XR71 and made tests with coils (with shield or not). If he read this maybe can tell us about his results.
    Best Regards

or this artefact have problem, say me , what disadvanyages have the delta pulse? because is it is perhaps the delta superior to one efficient and simple circuit two boxes? because this types of machine are preferred to the two box, prefered to one versatile and simple function of two boxes operation ? I have the news of detector of two boxes that is not affected by the effect of desbalance of earth, waves or lines, this deep too 3 meters in soil , have delta pulse problems whit statics or waves of city, what advantages have these detector? what is the applications in detection of delta? only for he is single to be used to the outside in mounts, to opened field, or it is possible to be used in congested cities and floods of señales?agradecere but information about the delta, I it truth do not go to build these big complexity,of ics and circuit, prefer to construct simple two boxes that have sufficient advantages and that is not influenced by papers of single aluminum and detect only big masses, I appreciate its attention we are platicando kindly detectoman thanks
    Hi detectoman.
Two boxes detectors are not so sensitive as PI with large coil. Two boxes are sensitive at large objects and ideal at anomalies grounds (with big stones). Delta Pulse as other P.I detectors can not discriminate but have the ability to reject some small iron objects and ceramics by adjusting the sample delay.

Detectoman ask why you persist in this complicate circuit wich requires many adjustments, etc., and relegates the two boxes, wich give, if not more sensitivity, equal than PI... with few adjustments.

Also Detectoman said that He appreciate your finest work and also ask why your preference for PI and no for two boxes. Also ask if the Delta Pulse or similar PI can discriminate.

    Calm!!!

If is there any chance for you to rewrite this in some understandable manner, than i'll be glad to reply to you..

my commentaries were because you estan constructing great coils, although if I recognize the util use that gives a detector of subject of gossip for the search of small and valuable pieces, agradecere say to me if the delta presses is discriminating, thanks detectoman
