you have to change somes composants az tell Eugene...
-R47,R49=2k
-R5=2k2 1w
-R6=1k
-C7=220uf (not 1000 uf)
-C1= 15nf (not 22 nf)

Marius, you should adjust it for best results with the target. No need to measure it. But measure the battery current and pay attention of TX transistor temperature.

This is impossible. The pause between TX pulses is so large. See the width of pulses above in this thread posting #1024!

I have checked all based on schematic did all on osciloscope but same problem.With a 25 cm coil 32 turns im detecting at about the same distance
as i am using the 40 cm with 23 turns 0,5 wire.Dont know why.... Poor detecting a spray can 330 ml with 40 cm coil at 50 cm only...
With the 25 cm coil i get a big coin at 16 cm maximum....

i find a mistake in compesant 1.5nf , now my DP is better it can detect a canet coka at 85cm , but is not stable

test all accumulators - this is your problem! one AA size unit must give you 9-10 A of current on your digital tester in full charged state!

you must test your batt ONLY 1-2 seconds in this mode!
it is a short circuit for your batt!

is not TM-808. it is TF900. DP is more sensitive with coil 1*1 m than TF900.

I have tested my last mod and was very amazing that it is not working good I was dream. so please do not do this mod with 7909.
stability is great but sensitivity is very low.
