You can adjust contrast with R44 and R45 resistors.

ATMEGA 8-16PU

Can i use ATMEGA 8-16PU instead of ATMEGA 8-16PI, i can't find it in my country.
I look at datashet and pin configuration is not the same.

You can use that one. I built the PIM-2 with the PDIP version and it works.

@detecto, do you have v06 or v05 version? I am experimenting with v05 and with the exception of the usage limit it is a hihgly recommeneded soft- and hardware, at least for me.
