Friends, can you help me? I assembled and tested my IDX Pro metal detector, then I built the 2-tone sound circuit and connected it correctly to the connection points, but it keeps beeping. Could someone please help me with this?

eduardo1979 Hi Eduardo, could you help me with my two-tone circuit? As you suggested, I removed the R55 resistor and made the circuit connections correctly, but when I connect the BC517, it constantly beeps, as if it's detecting something, but it keeps making a sound and the BC517 burns out. What could be causing this problem?

Hello friends, I wanted to ask about the coil in the circuit you shared, Aleks85. Is it DD or concentric? I didn't understand the GND wire coming from the coil; is it shielded before being connected to GND? Finally, thank you for the PCB and measurements.

The shield is a shield, the signal wires should not be connected to the shield.

Hello everyone, I want to build an IDX Pro metal detector, but I am confused about the PCB versions.
Which is the final stable PCB layout (single layer) that is suitable for printing and etching?
I am looking for a black & white printable version (1:1 scale, mirror if needed).
Also, what are the exact PCB dimensions?
