Just some test, when I change 2n2222 with C1815 it doesnt have any different, when I use 28cm 30turn 0.5wire the tip127 not get hot, but the sensitivity is decrease.

Not sure if that one had been tested but it is best to wait for the new Sliverdog board. If you do the non motion mod I think we found before that when the detector is in non-motion mode it is affected by the DC offset of the preamp. This makes sense since it passes DC in that mode. The adjust proceedure should be set the threshold to barely audible in motion, then go to non motion and adjust preamp DC offset for the same loudness. You may have to go back and forth several times to get this right.

BUT it is best to wait for the new kit that fixes several problems that at least some, and maybe many, Baracuda's have!

Sounds like progress. With correct coil/damping and 2N2222 the TIP127 should only get slightly warm.

the delay and offset will need readjusting for the new coil.

Progress....
With 22.5cm 24turn 0.5 without 2n5485(F245B) and mpf102(F245B)it can snift 2.5cm coin at +/- 10cm, No more heat problem..NEEDS MOREE...MOREEE

Change TL072 with LM358P LONG BEEP..... AND STOP MAKING A SOUND FROM NOW ON....my bad, what should I do now? Still working tho, the led signal still sens metal object.

Mpf102 and 2n5485 has come, solder it and increase the range.
But still..... no sound.

try removing the LED and a different speaker.

I dont know if 7660 have max v10, is that ok? Just order 7660S 12v max.

Already did it, nothing change, put headphone jack=same

If you have -5 volts from the output of the 7905 the 7660 will be fine.

Yes two of them have -5 and +5 (7905,7805).
What pin should i test from 7660? Output?

Sound is back, after i resolder some components, but.... sensitivity is very poor, and not making sound when i turn the threshold, usually it humming when i turn max the knob.... maybe i should make a new board, wrong procedure from the start

After long frustation, now..... its work!!
when i check again there is two resistor that wrong.
Its work with 9volt, i use 9v modem adaptor
