Have you claimed in the past that multi layer SM mount boards are bad because they create harmonics?
Can you tell all the good folk here how and why this is so?
Can you give your own ideas as to how these undesirable effects in multi layer boards can be minimized or eliminated?

I have idea for measure mono coil deep detect for compare spiral and bundle winds, or any type of winds.
Think of target on axis distance A from Tx winds, and identical physical Rx winds on opposite side of target from Tx winds, also A distance from target. This be same as PI mono, but 2 coils.
If A > few times winds diameter, field approx. uniform at A also at off axis.
Now put sinewave on Tx and measure voltage at Rx (no target, just direct Tx to Rx). If wL>>R for fix Tx volt, Rx volt = coil deep gain. If Rx and Tx winds are exactly same, then this be independent of L. Because suppose we 1/2Rx and ½ Tx turns for bundle winds. Now L approx. ¼, so 4X current in Tx and 2X field, but Rx have ½ gain, so get same Rx voltage.
I do this test on coils, and get a bit more signal from bundle wire than bit spread out spiral winds. This because average diameter of spiral winds be less and this be more effect than more height of bundle winds. If spiral winds very tight for big diam coil, then difference between bundle and spiral very small.
