about headset connector. there are two isolating beads on the connector - one inside and another outside of the panel. if you use a metal housing you have to remember about the solid isolation of the connector. points of soldering of the connector you can see at photos. this connector is mono,in original.

It's a slow go working on the King Cobra since I am spending most of my time building my PI.
Just need to get the SMT parts for beneath the board and some IC's to finish up.

I have access to 22uf 35volt SMD 7343H caps. I can use these for all the 7343h parts?

and 22 ohm 1206 resistors

yes, certainly, because 35V more than enough.

you can use 0805 type resistors (L=2mm) too. at a photo are 0805's setting on PCB.
