Hi, i really dont know anything about the performance, i m trying to build my first delta pulse with sprint layout pcb. I compared it with mikron electronics schematics and i found some track diferences when i compared with sprint layout file. That´s the reason because i m requesting the schematics of it. I also had place the components names on the pcb, but the ones that are show on Mikron Electronics schematics.
If any one can help i ll appreciate it.

Hi Aban and 1843. I looked at technical data of CD4538 and NC14538. There is a little difference at pin 5 and 11 (input A and B). MC14538 has a non invert schmitt Trigger in serious that CD4538 has not. So I am not sure if you can place MC14538 istead of 4538. My opinion is to try with cd4538. If i will find a mc14538 i will test my Delta Pulse and i write you

Hi Aban. With 23..25 turns of wire 0.5...0.7 mm you are OK

Btw i made a square coil 60x60 and it works very good. I think that i made it with 23 turns (no very sure but near 23 turns)

Can I use the 0.4 or 0.8mm wire?I think that 0.8mm is better than 0.6mm.
If I use the 0.8mm wire, How many turns is needed?

Hi Aban. The turns are the same but if you use 0.8mm you must measure the DC resistance of coil. If it is lower than 2.5..3 ohm then connect a 2..4 ohm resistor in series with coil because the IRF740 will come Hot

Square or Rounded coils

Hi Geo,

Square coils are better or rounded coils?
Does need a 60cm square coil to shielding?
Can DeltaPulse detect 1to 2Kg gold at 2 to 3meter under the soil with 60cm coil?

Hi. For me it is the same. The choise of square coil is that it was easy to build the coil housing. I made it from pvc water pipe. I believe that 2 m coil is suitable for you . Try it with 8 turns 1mm wire and maybe a resistor 2.5..3 ohm in series with it. It don't need shielding.
I never found gold so i don't know for sure if you can detect it.

The 2m coil is very big! I can not carry it!
I want to make a 60cm coil that can detect 2kg gold at 1m or 2!
I did not know the 60cm coil needed to shield or no! :confused:

Do not need shield. It work at low frequency (100Hz) and the object is big. Construct it . Don't afraid.
