Hello, I would like to know what schematic of pro idx is used today. I made my card with LF747, I have a diagram but it did not seem to match my card. In fact I noticed that there is a switch called "black sand" I do not know what it is. On the diagram that I have noticed that I can power the detector with 4 batteries and some assembly converts 12 volts out I did not mount this part on my card. could you help me thank you.
I leave you a picture of the card I made for you to send me the schema matching thank you.

The regulator on the IDX board is an 8 volt type! So you need to use at least 7808, 7809 will also work. Please note that 78XX regulators have relatively high drop voltage, they will not work with a 9 volt battery. You will need at least 12 volts input.Originally posted by Nicolas View PostHi seadoggy
You can replace that by a L78L05
Best time

Hi Joop
Sorry you are right the LM 2930-8 is a Regulator 8v
But the L78L05 is equivalent for the U4 MCP1703 on the board LCD
Thx Joop

hello, I made the first test of the pro idx. I have some questions.
I have a slight noise threshold at the time of testing, I thought with the threshold knob that I could remove it but I can not. there no solution? Another question, when I toggle the switch to pinpoint it beep continuously good I noticed that almost approaching a currency coils it beep than the center when I spend the money on it but without money mode pinpoint all sounds time are normal?

Here is the way that it should work:Originally posted by ashefr10 View Posthello, I made the first test of the pro idx. I have some questions.

First part in video is pinpoint mode, doing ground balance with a ferrite rod. The pinpoint mode should be able to be adjusted so the IDX is completely silent.. it does however interact with the disc mode, meaning if PP mode is set too low, it will reduce sensitivity in the disc mode and if PP mode is set too high, disc mode will be noisy. I then swithed to disc mode for testing a gold ring.
If you cannot get rid of the threshold, then you have it assembled incorrectly or a bad component.

Hi Eduardo 1979
Greetings for the good work.
I work on this project, but the result is not what you need. Must have one or more errors, but it's hard to find them when you do not know what should be the result.
Please Eduardo 1979 to take photos with the measured values in control points. This will be a useful guide for all who make this / and not only this / project.
Regards

This project has no errors. Everything works correctly. You have to read all about this project on this forum and I assure you that your IDX will work to primera.Yo I have no time to repeat all that detelles have posted in this thread some time ago. Many people are asking me the same thing and my email is invaded by these Messages. Greetings.Originally posted by laika View PostHi Eduardo 1979
