What is best coil for IDX-Pro??i make DD coil! RX wire 0.22 awg 260 turns whit parallel capacitor 33nF and TX wire 0.60 awg whit parallel capacitor 1uF !! But to low detect 1 euro about 18-19 cmm that is to low for IDX-Pro!!

I never make concetric coil mate ,what is loop ??where i widing that loop??,and also what is your coil size?

Bury a coin and try that. It should do 5" plus. Raise the Sens/gain pot up on the PP channel S

i try that mate!,and also my detector in discrimination mode is not stable!!,in PP mode is ok

just wanted to start with the tt board. but there is an error on the circuit board (reiv's layout). I think i can solder a bridge ....
reiv, look at the layout again. i hope that is the only error.

Sheet You are right, i upload earliers .lay file. But don`t worry there is no errors beasides this missing connection -it`s working, i`m using it. Here is all my variations of this PCB all works.

Ive not been watching the 2 tone developments..

Is one of the benefits you can open the Disc back towards ALL Metal and get the extra depth?
(As well as knowing Fe or non Fe)

In communication with seadoggy one thing that puzzled me for some time now has resurfaced: did anyone recently test the original coil, say Blue Max, for resonances of both Tx and Rx, as something is fishy with the values at hand.
The mismatch in frequencies with values often cited here is so great that there is no impedance transformation benefit of the parallel tank in Rx.

I had a look at this- at w/e to see if having a 2 tone board would enable the user to open the disc towards all metal and get the extra sens at depth.

But it was clear that in order for the 2 tones to work the Disc must be set as normal and as a consequence there will be no extra depth for the user.

Hi everybody, I presents data for new type of coil to IDX. This one works reeealy great, for example small 15mm diameter coin burried in ground is clearly see at 28cm.. wchich is for me awesome result, discrimination is sharp like a razor . I get weight about 350g.
